The texture is a bit thick and creamy, but it absorbs super quickly without any sticky residue! It's absolutely perfect for year-round use. I especially love how fast it absorbs even during summer! It works wonderfully for body acne, facial breakouts, and eczema-prone skin, and it's even more effective for psoriasis! The only downside is that despite the rich, creamy consistency, it absorbs so rapidly that you need to apply it quickly before it sets. After cleansing, dispense an amount about the size of a small coin and spread it generously across the area. Since it absorbs quickly, work fast!

Did they only update the case? Or did they reformulate the ingredients? Despite the name suggesting a body emulsion, this is actually a cream, but it's not heavy or thick at all! Honestly, as someone with dry skin, the hydration could be stronger, but I have to say the fragrance is subtle and absolutely lovely! It's a cream, not an emulsion, but... I'm really disappointed by the lack of moisture. The texture glides on smoothly, but it feels like it dries out while I'm applying it. I've started mixing it with body oil to use it. The lack of that dewy finish is why I'm giving it one less star! As someone with dry skin, I wish it had more hydration and that dewy feel, but I can see how these qualities might actually be a plus for someone else. My skin tends to be quite dry, and during winter it was really frustrating because no matter what cream I applied, the dryness just wouldn't go away. But this product has amazing staying power that really works! Now I'm using it on my kids too, and even my daughter who constantly scratches at her skin has noticed a huge improvement. I'm happy with it and my whole family is using it, so there's really nothing to complain about. A friend recommended this for keratosis pilaris, and I've been using it ever since. The scent is absolutely amazing that I keep reaching for it! The more I apply it, the better the hydration, and I'm really loving the results. The only minor downside I can think of is that it has a slightly oily feel to it. I have extremely dry skin with keratosis pilaris, so I've tried tons of body emulsions over the years, but this one is by far the best. Even when I slack off a bit with my routine, that problem area immediately shows signs of the bumpy texture, but using this consistently has made such a difference. My skin feels so much smoother now. I'm especially thrilled with how much my upper arms have improved. I don't have any real complaints, but since I need to write at least 20 characters... Anyway, I've been using the 500ml pump bottle version, and once I get near the bottom, no matter how much I pump, nothing comes out. The moisturizing power is fantastic and I absolutely love the scent. My kids use this emulsion exclusively because it's so gentle and kind to their skin. I can't really think of any downsides yet. The formula is so gentle that I'm using it regularly for my kids. I even apply it on their faces without any issues at all. I don't have any complaints right now, though I wish there was a bit more product in each container. The tube format makes it so convenient to pack for trips! Since it has a lighter consistency, it applies smoothly without feeling heavy on the body and leaves skin feeling nicely moisturized! I'm not sure how to describe the scent, but it has a subtle floral quality to it - it's a fragrance I'm experiencing for the first time. Nothing really stands out as a downside. I didn't notice it when I applied it to my body, but when I used it on my hands, there was definitely a slight oily residue left behind.
