Personally, I just add one drop of oil and use a dropper to pick up a tiny amount, then mix it in that way. Even with this method, if you dilute it too much, it can feel irritating, itchy, and just uncomfortable overall. Be really careful with the dilution ratio. I once got careless trying to measure out drops with a dropper and accidentally added two drops instead, thought it would be fine, and applied it anyway—big mistake! The key is to always use minimal amounts and dilute fresh each time you use it. If you use it wrong, you'll seriously regret it. You must dilute it with a small amount of liquid. Honestly, it's better to use a very small amount rather than risk adding too much tea tree and messing up your skin. Improper use can cause burns or serious irritation. If you don't know how to use it properly, skip buying it altogether. Tea tree concentrate—if you don't know how to use the pure formula, don't buy it. You get a generous amount for an affordable price. Tea tree extract should never be applied directly to your face without diluting it first. Always dilute it and use it in small amounts. Simply mix one drop into the amount of emulsion you'd normally apply to your face. Honestly, I don't have strong feelings either way about this product. Since I'm mixing in small amounts before applying, I haven't experienced any dramatic negative or positive reactions. I discovered after purchasing this that my main skin concern was actually dehydration, so once I started focusing on keeping my skin hydrated, I stopped having major breakouts. What I love is that it's pure 100% tea tree leaf oil. I haven't tested the results yet, but I'm planning to dab it on problem areas when breakouts happen. Update after using it... Wow, this is definitely authentic tea tree oil 100! The scent is pretty strong, so I didn't take it seriously at first. While blow-drying my hair, I stuck those hydrating gel pads (we call them firefighter pads) on both cheeks and dropped one tiny drop of this oil on each pad. It got SO hot that my skin felt like it had a burn, and even hours later it was still warm and tingly. I'm cooling it down with a soothing gel right now. But here's the wild part - only the exact circular area where the pad and tea tree oil touched turned white. Wow... I learned not to underestimate this product. I guess it makes sense that it feels heavy since it's an oil, right? Anyway, I'm definitely going to mix tiny amounts with other products and use it slowly over time! 1. What was that sticker doing on the packaging? Are they selling individual units from a 2-pack set? I'm curious. 2. The manufacturing date was 2 years ago, and the expiration date is 2 years from now, so it should be fine, but I wish it were fresher since oils are best when new. 3. The scent. Since it's pure tea tree leaf oil without added fragrance, I'm disappointed that it doesn't have that cool, sharp tea tree aroma I'm used to. The smell is kind of... fishy? 4. I'm disappointed there's no minty, warming sensation. Does it even work? I'm not sure. -> Wait, actually no! There IS a warming sensation! A real one! When I wrote that review, I was testing it on my wrist, neck, and other areas besides my face, so I didn't notice the warmth. I was expecting a warming massage effect like a balm, but that's what I meant by saying it wasn't there. But on my face, the warming sensation is definitely there! I haven't tried it on breakouts yet, so I can't confirm the effectiveness. But if tea tree works well for your skin, it's worth picking up and trying. 5. The bottle opening is way too big. I used to love Essen Herb's Tea Tree 100 Oil, and I always mixed it with other skincare products. I bought this one with the same intention, but the fishy smell is so strong that I'm worried mixing it with my other favorite products will ruin them. Anyway, mixing it with other products is a great tip!

The price for the amount you get is really fair too. I use the tea tree oil in a couple of ways - I dab it directly onto blemish-prone areas, and honestly, after just a few days most breakouts practically disappear. I also mix it into my emulsion or toner for a gentler approach, which is great because it protects my skin while still giving me all the benefits. There are so many other ways to use this product, so I'd definitely recommend doing a quick online search to discover even more possibilities. Like a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, the container design is honestly not very practical - I'm not sure who came up with it, but it's definitely not convenient. That said, I don't really mind since I'm going to transfer it to another bottle anyway. Just a heads up - because of how potent tea tree oil is, if too much of it touches your skin directly, it can cause redness. This tea tree oil is an absolute steal! It performs just as well as other brands, but the bottle seems to last forever—I keep using it and there's still so much left. The packaging could be more convenient. I wish it had a dropper or some kind of dispenser at the top so I could apply it one drop at a time more easily. It's 100% tea tree oil and the price for the amount you get is fantastic. Since there's so much product, I love how versatile it is - I can add a drop to my cream, mix it into my shampoo, even put some on my pillow. It's perfect for using everywhere. I wish the cap had a dropper or some kind of controlled opening so the product comes out one drop at a time. Right now it's completely wide open, which makes it really hard to control. The wide opening makes it so much easier to use compared to those typical containers with tight seals. I love how you can dab it on precisely with a cotton swab. When I compare it to the tea tree oil I've ordered directly from overseas, the soothing effect isn't as strong. While the scent is quite potent, it doesn't really excel at calming troubled skin.

I've been using it mainly with my desert essence, essence toner, and body products, so this is my first time trying the coconut care line. I've been using tea tree oil since I was young, so I don't have any hesitation about it. The scent isn't overpowering or anything like that, which I really appreciate. The results are fantastic, just as expected. What I love most is that it seems to be pure extract with no added fragrance agents, which is wonderful. The container isn't very convenient to use. Since it comes with a small dropper bottle, I'm planning to transfer it into smaller portions. It would be great if you sold droppers that fit the original container too. Tea tree oil is so versatile and useful. I mix a few drops into my modeling pack treatments and it works beautifully. I also mix a few drops into rubbing alcohol and spray it on my bedding, which is fantastic. Price - For an essential oil product like this, the price is incredibly affordable! Texture and Feel - I thought it might feel irritating or cause some sensitivity, but it's surprisingly gentle on the skin Amount - This bottle will last forever - you could easily get 500 applications out of it! Hygiene - The downside is that you need to constantly touch it with cotton swabs or applicator tips to use it hygienically Scent - It has a musty smell that's quite strong. There's definitely no mold, but the odor is really overpowering I mix it into my modeling masks!
