I really prefer a completely matte finish, and this powder does an amazing job of blurring pores while providing coverage similar to a foundation. I also love that it has a built-in mirror and a separate compartment underneath to store the puff, which makes it much more hygienic to use compared to other products. If you don't control the amount properly, it can look cakey and make your skin appear thick and heavy. If you're looking for a sheer, natural-looking finish, I wouldn't recommend this one. I've tried tons of powder foundations because I have oily skin, and I really love that this one isn't just white—you can pick a shade that matches your actual skin tone! When I use a powder brush instead of the puff, it applies so much more smoothly without clumping. It's honestly a solid, reliable product that does exactly what a powder should do. The particles feel a bit larger, if that makes sense? When I use the powder puff, it tends to clump on me. You absolutely have to use the included puff applicator with this! I was originally using a brush, but once I switched to applying it with the puff, my skin became incredibly smooth - I was honestly shocked! All those texture issues and enlarged pores just vanished. This product is a must-have, and it applies so beautifully thin and even. The design is a bit awkward, but honestly it's not really inconvenient enough to be a deal-breaker. It's definitely pricey, but honestly it's worth every penny. I'm really happy with it! The cushion gets dirty so quickly. This does an amazing job controlling shine and the color is beautifully subtle - I'm really happy with it! It breaks apart easily, and whenever it gets on my clothes or fabric, it leaves marks that are hard to remove and just flakes off everywhere. So frustrating! Just a few gentle taps and you can see your skin texture become incredibly smooth. When I use it with a primer, my pores completely disappear. I'm trying this primer compact for the first time and I'm really pleased with it. It gives such a smooth, flawless finish without any texture showing through. At first I was using the puff applicator, but I found that controlling the amount is key, so now I either dab it on lightly or use a brush to sweep it on gently. It's excellent at controlling shine and keeping oil at bay. It gives my face a smooth, polished appearance and looks so clean The cushion seems to be washing away my makeup, if that makes sense. I'm not really happy with it.
