I'm sharing my honest review after using this for over 10 months with sensitive skin! First, the pink-toned base gives such a natural brightening effect and is perfect for color correction! The best application method I found was using a spatula or my fingertip to apply it thinly and press it in gently - this created the most natural, seamless base coverage. Even though I have sensitive skin, I experienced zero irritation after using it, and despite being a primer, I didn't notice any pore clogging or enlarged pores. I found it absolutely perfect for foundation-free days because it has just enough coverage to blur redness and minor imperfections. It gives my complexion such a fresh, radiant boost that I really loved it. I'd definitely repurchase this and highly recommend it! The staying power is quite weak. Even though it's called a primer, it doesn't really perform like one should. If you have dry skin, you might experience some tightness because of that powdery finish, so make sure you're giving your skin plenty of hydration beforehand. On its own, it doesn't offer much coverage, so if you're dealing with blemishes or redness, you'll want to layer it with a concealer or foundation to get the coverage you need. My skin type is combination and cool-toned, especially in winter. When I apply a solid foundation base and then use this primer, the feel is absolutely amazing! Since I'm cool-toned and love that rosy, pink complexion, I was always frustrated that my face looked yellowish and dull. But here's my routine: toner, cream, sunscreen, primer, then foundation. Once I started using this primer in that order, the yellow cast completely disappeared and my skin took on this beautiful pink glow! I'm so happy with how my skin tone looks now, and the fact that it blurs my pores gives my skin that perfectly smoothed-out, airbrushed finish! I think you really need to build up a solid foundation base before using this primer. When I applied my foundation the way I normally do and then added the primer, my makeup looked too heavy and started shifting around when I put on my foundation. That was a bit disappointing. Make sure to use the right amount and apply it with gentle strokes from the inside of your face outward, almost like you're buffing it in. That works best!

I was worried about the pink undertone, but it blends beautifully with my skin tone. Comparing it to the blue-capped primer from the same brand, I'd say this one feels a bit thicker and more substantial than the blue-capped version. I think that's because of the added brightening formula, but the finish is just as smooth and powdery as the blue-capped primer! The brightening function works so well that I'll definitely repurchase if my skin improves~ Since I have acne-prone skin with some flakiness, I noticed the primer made the dry patches more noticeable when I applied it. So now I only use it on areas without flaking, like the sides of my nose and cheeks. If you have acne-prone skin, you might want to think twice about this one. I also mix this with concealer when I'm covering dark circles. My concealer can feel really dry on its own, but mixing it with this primer makes it feel smoother and gives better coverage. I first tried this during winter and was pleasantly surprised—it wasn't drying at all! I think it'll work even better for me in the summer though. Since it's a brightening base, I don't have to worry as much about the product darkening on my skin, haha Honestly, there's really nothing I dislike about it. My only minor complaint is that the opening gets dirty pretty easily. If you apply it thinly with a spatula, press it in with a puff, and then layer your concealer or foundation on top, it looks really flawless. This primer does an amazing job of blurring pores, so when I apply my makeup over it, everything looks so much smoother and more refined! It really excels at what a primer should do. The amount is tricky to control and it can feel a bit patchy when applying. This product gives such a beautiful dewy finish with a lovely pink tone! The cushion formula applies so smoothly and blends beautifully. It also does an amazing job of minimizing the appearance of pores! Results can vary depending on your skin type, but I found that it didn't adhere as well as I'd hoped. You really need to apply it carefully and blend it out thoroughly for even coverage. Also, be careful with how much product you use—if you apply too much, it can look chalky and patchy. Sometimes just certain spots would turn white and look obvious. Pro tip: if you dampen your applicator puff with a bit of water and gently press it onto your skin, the formula adheres so much better and won't look cakey or separated!
