My forehead broke out with acne that had been quiet for thirty years, my cheeks developed allergic reactions, and I started getting itchy, irritated bumps that weren't quite acne or pimples. To repair the damage, I switched to water cleansing in the morning and gentle acidic foam at night. I searched hard for the right toner and discovered this product. I chose it because pregnant women use it and it contains ceramides that strengthen the skin barrier. After using it for two years, I regret not finding it sooner. Even though it has no harmful ingredients, skincare products can be harsh by nature, making it difficult to find something that works perfectly for your skin. But this product is genuinely suitable for extremely sensitive skin types. 1. Once the bottle is more than half empty, it doesn't dispense well when tilted. You have to keep it completely upright to use it. 2. It's pricier compared to other toners. 3. The brand doesn't advertise much. It seems like only devoted fans use it, and I wish the company would invest more in marketing. I'm worried it might get discontinued due to low sales. As a regular person, there's only so much I can do to promote it. 4. The brand really needs to get the word out more. If you have extremely dry skin, don't rely only on hydrating or moisturizing creams to fix deep dehydration. While you can use hydrating and moisturizing products if your skin needs them, the real solution for deep dryness is using a toner. After two pumps, let your face fully absorb it completely, then pump two more times and let it absorb again. Don't overdo it though, as too much can actually irritate your skin. I searched for toners safe for pregnancy and tried this one because Director Pye recommended it. It's really gentle and mild on the skin. This is a fall/winter toner, but here I am using it in summer... It's way too heavy for the warm season. I wish I had chosen something lighter.

How to use: Apply right after cleansing by pumping twice and patting it in gently. You'll need to follow up with an emulsion or moisturizer afterward! Pro 1. Incredibly gentle The formula is simple and mild, and I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts during application. My skin is extremely sensitive and reactive, and I've been using this for three months without a single issue! Not once! I'm absolutely thrilled about this. It's rare to find such a non-irritating product, even among gentle options, so if it works well through summer too, I could honestly see myself using this forever. It's perfect as that first step after cleansing, right before layering other products. Pro 2. Beautifully hydrating There's barely any oily feel to it - the hydration is what really shines through. I'd say it's about 9 parts water to 1 part nourishment? And that slight richness feels more like gentle nutrition than actual oil, if that makes sense. Anyway, even though it's labeled for fall and winter, it's not heavy at all - it's just a toner that does the basics really well. So unless you have very oily skin, you could totally use this in summer too. That said, it's not watery-light either! There's a slight slip when you apply it, and it absorbs beautifully and quickly. Con 1. The pump I didn't notice it at first, but once I'd used more than half the bottle, the pump started acting up. It's not terribly inconvenient, but honestly, I wish it came in a squeeze bottle instead for easier dispensing. This doesn't feel like a cream-type essence - it's a true toner through and through.
