I love that it comes in a spray format, so I can apply it right after my shower with ease. Since I have dry skin, I took a break during summer, but I've been using it consistently since fall and I've noticed a significant reduction in itching and dryness. The absorption is fantastic and it's so convenient to use. After using it, oil seems to drip down the bottle, making the outside slippery and messy. My body skin tends to be dry, and I really dislike how heavy most body creams and emulsions feel with their sticky finish. Most body oils also feel too thick and weighty for me. But this Pure Olive Body Oil is wonderfully lightweight, so I can apply it without any hesitation, even during summer. As for the scent, I was already using a different body cream with a stronger fragrance, so I really appreciate how subtle and delicate this oil's scent is in comparison. The spray bottle design is inconvenient. I wish it came in a pump dispenser format instead. Since it's a spray, some of the oil gets wasted in the air when you spray it, and when the mist settles on the floor, it becomes slippery and unsafe. I tried spraying it into my palm first to apply it that way, but that was also awkward. I'm convinced that spray body oils are the way to go, and since this is one of the few spray options out there, it's so convenient to use. I just spray it on and massage it in quickly—that's the best part. The scent is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance, but honestly, it's not bad at all. My skin isn't usually sensitive (actually, I'd say I have pretty resilient skin), but right after switching to this oil, I broke out in hives starting from my arms and spreading across my entire body. It's incredibly itchy. I think the ingredients just don't work for my skin. I was using Nuxe before and this is the first time I've tried something different, but I'm just going to go back to Nuxe. I first discovered the Dalan brand when a friend gave me their body oil as a gift! The scent isn't overpowering, and it's not too greasy either, so it's been absolutely wonderful to use. I've been using this consistently since last summer and I'm really happy with it. The cream does have a slightly sticky feel, so I appreciate that it has an oil-based formula. I thought this product worked well when I used it before, so I repurchased it recently. But the scent is completely different from what I remember, and shortly after applying it, my skin breaks out in red irritation. I thought it was just me, so I gave it to my mom, but my sister and mom are experiencing the same issue. When I contacted the seller, they said there's nothing wrong with the product. But honestly, the fragrance used to be more powdery, and now it just smells like rancid oil. How can they say it's the same product? When I apply this product, I get a rash and itching on my skin. It's not like I've never used it before, and the seller actually blamed me for the problem! Don't use this. It completely irritates your skin.
