The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous, and even though it's in stick form, it applies with a beautiful glossy finish! I think this would work wonderfully as a base lip product. I bought this because it was supposed to work for both cool and warm undertones, but it leans more toward warm than I expected. The color looks so natural and has a beautiful rosy tone that really flatters the skin. When you first apply it, it feels wonderfully hydrated and smooth. While it applies smoothly and feels moisturizing at first, it tends to dry out as time goes on. The staying power isn't quite as long-lasting as I'd hoped. It applies so sheer and delicate, which I really love. If you have naturally beautiful skin, this would look even prettier on you. I chose the rose hip shade because it's the coolest tone among their products. The staying power is less than an hour though, which is disappointing. It fades away even when I'm not doing anything, but I still appreciate how lovely it looks overall. The longevity just isn't there. It disappears even when I'm sitting still. The color is absolutely gorgeous and I'm totally in love with it! I think it works wonderfully as a base before applying tint. When I spread it on my lips, it smudges and fades away, which is a bit disappointing. I bought this as a gift, but the color is absolutely gorgeous! I've tried it a few times myself and honestly, it's not bad at all—pretty decent actually. As a lipstick, the staying power just isn't there. This product is incredibly moisturizing with a gorgeous luminous finish. It does have some texture, but it applies beautifully. I think it would be perfect for warm undertones, and honestly, dabbing it on with a stippling motion looks so much prettier than just swiping it on like a regular lipstick.
