I applied it smoothly over my sunscreen every morning and it stayed put. The shade has this ashy, grayish-brown tone that doesn't work for me. Instead, I prefer BB creams with natural coverage that let my skin breathe. I used to rely on a popular regenerating BB cream from another brand, but it had serious darkening issues and looked kind of dull on me, you know? But this one? No darkening at all, and it lasts so well! That's what I love about it. Warning: Since it's a BB cream formula, oil does come through after a while, but I just blot it with oil paper and touch up with another cushion, and honestly, the makeup looks fresh and blends beautifully! Shine: I see a lot of people saying the coverage isn't strong enough, but even though I have acne scars and active breakouts, this covers everything so naturally. I'm really happy with it. Just so you know, I don't go for full coverage anyway. My skin gets too congested, and I feel like heavy coverage isn't good for my skin, so I don't even use concealer. Pro tips for using this: - Layering with a spatula : I apply a thin layer all over my face with a spatula, then layer it one more time with another thin coat to boost coverage! This way, the wear time improves and acne or marks get covered to a good degree. The formula itself is so hydrating that even beginners should find it easy to apply. Even when I close the cap tightly, the formula is so runny that a lot of it pools inside the lid.

I love how it stays put all day when I set it with powder. I didn't have any real issues with it, but when I checked the ingredient list, I noticed a couple of components that gave me some pause. Shade 21 is absolutely perfect for my skin tone, and the coverage is comparable to a glow cushion with seriously impressive staying power and adhesion! After application, it does feel a bit oily, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin types!! This product has been a lifesaver for me when I'm in a real rush. I just squeeze it like an emulsion into my palm, massage it onto my face like I'm washing it, and finish with powder. My friends have actually complimented my makeup when they've seen me out and about, which was so nice! Yes, it does feel a bit sticky on its own, but once I set it with powder, the staying power is surprisingly solid. From my personal experience, if you don't have oily skin or tend not to sweat much, this should last you through the day without any issues. Just a BB cream! The coverage is actually better than I expected, which is great. I use concealer for extra coverage anyway! (My skin has a lot of imperfections, but with the concealer on top, I got coverage just like in the photos. I apply both my concealer and base super thin, but honestly, this level of coverage is amazing. I actually threw away my old cushion foundation.) The SPF is a bit weak, but since I have sensitive skin, I don't get any breakouts. Even just one cleanse with milk cleanser removes everything completely without irritating my skin, and my skin actually feels better! These days I'm just using this one. I have one new one left, and once I finish that, I'll definitely buy this again. The downside is just what comes with any BB cream, I guess. But honestly, this is the best BB cream out there! Always apply concealer first. Otherwise it clumps way too easily. And seriously, seriously!!!!!!!! either apply it thin in multiple layers or just apply it thin. Don't be lazy and pump out too much, slather it on thick, and then regret it later because it looks completely off.
