This cream has a stretchy, snail mucin-like texture that feels luxurious and honey-like. It has a subtle vanilla scent that's really pleasant. Since it's a hydrating and firming serum, the moisture content is fantastic. I have oily skin and I've been using it since last month, and I'm loving it. When the weather gets colder, I think I'll layer it on a bit more for extra nourishment! The scent is a bit earthy, almost like clay or soil - it's a little off-putting. I've always been on the hunt for moisturizing creams and hydrating serums because my skin gets so parched underneath the surface. But ever since I started using the Maple Infusing Serum, the hydration level has been absolutely incredible! The formula has a slightly tacky texture, but it absorbs beautifully into my skin without leaving any sticky residue. I've been applying it consistently morning and night, and I've noticed the difference especially in the evenings after cleansing. My skin used to feel so dry, but now that I'm using the Infusing Serum, that deep dryness is finally under control. I'm really thrilled with the results! Personally, I find the scent a bit off-putting—it has this earthy, soil-like smell that I'm not crazy about. It works even better when you pair it with the Maple Moisturizing Cream! The absorption and hydration are both excellent, so when I apply it during seasonal transitions, my skin feels incredibly moisturized. I've been storing it in the fridge and applying it that way, and the cooling, soothing sensation is amazing! I purchased this on August 21st and have been using it for about a month now. Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any breakouts whatsoever, and I think it works beautifully for all skin types. During the height of summer, it might feel a bit heavy when I'm out and about. I think it would feel fresh and lovely to use in spring, fall, and winter, but honestly, in the middle of summer, anything you apply tends to feel a bit sticky anyway. It applies so smoothly and feels really hydrating! That part is definitely a win. Since I have oily skin like you, I'd recommend using it just in the evening! Shea butter doesn't work well with my skin, and I think that's why I broke out. So definitely check the ingredients carefully! The texture is silky and luxurious, but it absorbs surprisingly well into the skin. I absolutely love how it leaves my complexion feeling plump and dewy! If you're someone who dislikes sticky or tacky formulas, this product probably won't be your cup of tea.
