This product truly lives up to the Diptyque name with its luxurious, upscale feel—it reminds me of those beautiful hotel amenities! It makes you feel like a sophisticated, cosmopolitan woman. I'm a bit disappointed because I'm not sure it's worth the premium price tag. I bought this because I love the woody scent. It's often described as having that temple or incense-like fragrance, and that's exactly what it is. Even though I purchased it a few years ago and it's past the recommended expiration date, the scent hasn't deteriorated noticeably since it's not a fresh fragrance type. I keep using it as a light spritz. I tested it before buying and I'm pretty happy with it overall. My only wish would be that they offered a smaller size option, since I prefer using just a light touch of fragrance rather than spraying a lot. Perfect for fall and winter. I recommend applying it as a light spritz.

I've tried so many fragrances, but this one is genuinely a top favorite of mine. I alternate between this and Aesop Tacit, and I can wear it year-round without it ever feeling overwhelming. While I use Diptyque's Eau Rose generously, Tam Dao isn't quite my style, so this fragrance really helps me create my own signature scent. The only downside is the price point for a woody fragrance enthusiast like me, but honestly, aside from that, I love everything about it. It works beautifully on its own, but when I layer it with Philosykos and spray it together, it creates a completely different fragrance experience that I really enjoy.
