Overall rating - My forever favorite body balm, my absolute love. If this gets discontinued, I'm going straight to the company to protest! I genuinely adore this body balm. It's a permanent fixture in my bathroom, and I'm so devoted that I buy a new one before I've even finished the current jar. I've already emptied three to four containers. Fragrance - It smells like a lush rose garden filled with fresh greenery. The scent isn't light or overpowering, but refreshingly soft and gentle. It's the kind of fragrance everyone falls for. The appeal is absolutely irresistible. Application and hydration - When I apply it by hand, it glides on incredibly smoothly without any tugging or clumping. The finish leaves my skin feeling slightly tacky in the best way, which means the moisture stays locked in beautifully. The hydration is genuinely impressive and lasts all the way into the next day. My skin feels nourished and plump even the morning after. This is my forever body balm! The price is way too high for the amount you get, so I've started mixing it with an unscented moisturizing body cream to make it last longer. I mix it with an unscented moisturizing body cream to extend its use. On its own, the fragrance doesn't project as strongly, but when I layer it with a rose perfume on top, the scent truly lasts all day long.

It doesn't absorb instantly, but it leaves a silky, smooth finish. The absorption is solid, and the moisturizing power doesn't disappoint either. ♥️ Fragrance: I ordered this in early fall, and I'm so glad I chose the body balm over the fragrance version. The scent is often described as a rose fragrance on a rainy day, and that's exactly what it smells like. It has that fresh, dewy rose quality. Rather than smelling like delicate cut flowers, it captures that green, natural scent you get when you crush rose stems and petals together. It's absolutely lovely, and honestly, it feels more like walking through a real garden than a typical floral fragrance. ♥️ Scent Strength: The fragrance is definitely lighter than a perfume since body balms naturally have less fragrance concentration. The scent strength is subtle, though it's stronger than a body emulsion. If I had to rank the longevity and intensity, it goes: body emulsion is weakest, then body balm, and perfume is strongest. That said, I actually love this because I can layer it with other fragrances without overwhelming the blend. When I apply this body balm and then spray on my favorite fragrance, the combination is absolutely perfect!

It's so moisturizing and the scent lasts all day long. My routine is to apply the body balm right after showering, then spray the fragrance the next day, and I get this amazing Lombrdan Lo scent that lasts the entire day - it makes me so happy! My skin is combination, but my legs tend to be really dry, especially in winter, and they get so itchy. This balm has made such a huge difference! I used to use The Body Shop's Mango Body Butter, which is supposed to be for very dry skin, but it had way too many questionable ingredients. The first scent hits you like burning wood - it's smoky, but in the most delightful way. Then this beautiful wild rose note emerges and takes over. It's truly enchanting and absolutely captivating! Plus, the body balm glides on so smoothly and the moisture locks in beautifully - my skin still feels hydrated the next day. That plump, dewy feeling is amazing. I'm genuinely obsessed with this! And the amount you get is seriously generous!! When my skin's acting up, this can make it feel itchy and I get some red patches. I think it might be the fragrance causing irritation, so on those days I switch to a gentler body emulsion instead. The fragrance is lovely and the texture is wonderfully rich and creamy. It absorbs beautifully into the skin. This product really delivers on all fronts - I'm getting everything I want in one formula. I'm not sure why, but it's really hard to get this product. I'm hesitant about purchasing from third-party marketplaces because I can't trust the authenticity, and it seems like the item is constantly out of stock. The texture is more like a balm than a cream. Even so, it doesn't feel tight or dry, and it spreads smoothly across the skin. The next day after showering, there's a slightly silky residue that lingers. It has the right weight for body application during winter, with a rich, substantial feel. Since I typically use body creams just to keep my skin from drying out, I can't speak much to the functional benefits. However, I haven't experienced any irritation or adverse reactions after applying it. The reason I splurged on a pricier body cream was honestly for the fragrance longevity. The scent has this crisp, garden-like quality to it. Compared to other brands with stronger herbal notes, this one smells like an early morning garden. It's neutral and calming, yet beautifully complex at the same time. It's the kind of fragrance that feels perfect for cool weather. While body creams typically don't hold fragrance well, this one has impressive staying power. Even when I apply it after showering at night, the scent lasts until morning. When I'm out and about, the fragrance doesn't stay intensely strong, but I still catch whiffs of it throughout the day. If you're like me and value a rich scent with excellent longevity, I'd definitely recommend this one. Honestly, there's not much to complain about. Since it's a body cream, I don't think too deeply about the functional aspects. The only thing that's a bit disappointing is that the balm formula only comes in two scents. The emulsion versions they offer don't have the same fragrance staying power as the balm does.

The packaging even comes with a spatula and an inner lid, which is so thoughtful. The container feels substantial and weighty in the best way - it gives off such a premium vibe. It's not your typical plastic; it feels like something between plastic and ceramic, which is really special. As a body balm, it has that rich, creamy texture, but the moisturizing power is seriously impressive! I use just a little in summer, but come winter, I'm generously layering it on. Because the formula is richer and thicker than an emulsion, the fragrance comes through quite strongly compared to an emulsion. If you have sensitive skin or prefer lighter scents, you might want to think carefully about this one before purchasing.
