Then the lingering scent becomes this cozy, comforting fig aroma. I absolutely love that it stays fig-forward from start to finish, and the greenery notes are just perfection. The coconut isn't overpowering, so it doesn't feel heavy or cloying, and it's light enough that I can wear it throughout the summer without any issues. I've been decanting it into a travel bottle and carrying it around with me. The scent is so perfectly aligned with my taste that it's become my absolute favorite. The only downside is the longevity, honestly. Diptyque makes wonderful fragrances, but sometimes the staying power can be a bit disappointing. The perfect winter fragrance for me. I'm not usually a fan of sweet scents, but this one strikes the right balance—it's moderately sweet with a rich fig note that feels luxurious. Since it's an eau de parfum, the scent lasts beautifully throughout the entire day. The price is quite steep. As a student, I honestly don't have the courage to repurchase it at this cost. Diptyque offers many fragrances in both eau de parfum and eau de toilette versions. When I tested Philosykos at the store, the eau de toilette felt noticeably lighter and sweeter compared to the eau de parfum. I bought this blind, and the scent is absolutely amazing! I find myself spritzing it on every single day. I can't really think of any downsides, but if I had to nitpick, maybe the price point?

If you love fig scent, Philosykos is absolutely the way to go! You really have to try it. The fig fragrance is so rich and intense, it's like they literally blended fresh figs right into the product! I'm not usually a fan of musky scents, and this product has a lingering fragrance that feels a bit heavy and cloying to me. The scent is absolutely wonderful. This is the perfect example of a soft fig fragrance. It's honestly the best fig perfume I've tried. The coconut note might not be for everyone, and I wish the longevity was stronger.
