This is absolutely perfect for tackling deep dryness. Whenever my face feels parched, I apply this and it actually addresses that stubborn inner dryness that nothing else seems to fix. No real downsides! Though I'd say it might feel a bit heavy for oily skin types. Dictionist products are the kind of brand where you want to make every drop count. They really know how to create skincare that doesn't feel heavy or wasteful. Even though it has a water-based formula, it's not runny at all—it has just enough body to it. There's a subtle oily feel to it, which is perfect because after applying toner, it creates a protective layer so your skin doesn't dry out. The scent is barely noticeable, which I appreciate. I wish there was more product in the bottle. A larger size would definitely make this even better. Overall, Dictionist products have gotten really expensive lately. I love keeping it in the fridge and using it nice and cool—it feels so refreshing.

There's a very faint floral note, but it's so subtle you can barely detect it. #Texture: It's a regular oil, but when you apply it, it absorbs incredibly well without leaving any greasy residue on the skin. It's a lightweight oil that flows easily, so if you set it down and do something else, it drips everywhere. It flows even more than a typical essence. #Absorption: It absorbs completely. My skin gets hot very easily, and if a product doesn't absorb well, my face gets flushed and turns yellowish. But this one doesn't do that at all—it just leaves my skin feeling hydrated. #Moisturizing power: With squalane in the formula, it's genuinely hydrating, and thanks to the dandelion extract, it's not irritating at all. I've been using it for over 2 years now and I've already finished one bottle completely. I opened a new one and I'm using that now. #What makes it different from other products: It's incredibly gentle and moisturizing, making it perfect as a base before makeup. I've bought several bottles and keep them stocked. Ugh... it's been discontinued. It's been discontinued for a while now. I'm so disappointed. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, and there's something so satisfying about shaking it before each use! Personally, I found it a bit on the oily side, but I think it would be perfect for anyone with dry skin. The product itself is really great! I absolutely love this! Just a tiny amount goes such a long way - I can cover my entire face with barely any product! The opening gets dirty pretty easily, and I wish it came in a larger size!
