I've been using this for about 2 months now. It applies smoothly and feels hydrating. The absorption is decent. It seems best suited for dry skin types. Since it's a gentle, zero-irritant toner, I haven't experienced any breakouts or issues. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and I'm not a fan of runny textures. The consistency feels a bit disappointing for my skin type. I'd say this works better for dry skin than oily skin. I originally bought this thinking I could use it as an exfoliating toner, but the thin, watery formula doesn't work well for that purpose. My skin is oily, and I've been using it as a treatment essence. The absorption is great, it has almost no scent, and it's the only toner that gives me that refined, organized feeling to my skin texture. Anyway, I'm thrilled the product is back in production and I'm using it again. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No downsides at all.
