With pore primers, applying too much product can sometimes cause makeup to bunch up or shift, but this one fills in pores firmly and covers uneven skin texture really well. Plus, my skin feels comfortable after applying it. I have enlarged pores on my cheeks and overall textured skin with some acne scarring, so I'm usually very careful about coverage. I only used a lentil-sized amount per area (half that on my nose), and the makeup doesn't shift at all while giving my skin a smooth, flawless finish. It creates a protective layer over bumpy skin that helps foundation adhere beautifully. The compact size is perfect for tossing into my makeup bag when traveling. Honestly, I don't have any real complaints so far. The only thing is the price feels a bit steep for the amount of product you get. Application tip: Instead of just swiping it on, try using your fingertip to apply it in circular motions for better adhesion. Pay special attention to your nose area with gentle tapping motions to prevent pilling. On days when I want extra staying power, I do my full base routine: cleanser, toner, moisturizing emulsion, sunscreen, RMK makeup base, this pore primer, then Shu Uemura Unlimited foundation with a powder finish. It keeps everything in place all day without any lifting or separation. This primer pairs beautifully with BB creams! For quick touch-ups, I just apply it to problem areas where pores are visible before adding foundation, and it works great.
