Sunscreen loses its UV protection over time, so you need to use it up quickly. I really appreciated that this one comes in a 30ml size, which is super portable and gives you just the right amount to use without waste. The texture is lightweight and flows smoothly like water, which works really well. First off, the scent is really not it for me. Even if it didn't smell like yuzu, I could have dealt with an unscented option or a typical sunscreen fragrance. But this has such a harsh chemical smell—like industrial rubber or tires—that even though I'm not usually sensitive to scents, it made using this product genuinely uncomfortable. The formula feels light, but that comes with a downside: it's quite oily. There's so much shine and greasiness that it feels like wearing those old-school mineral sunscreens from years ago. My makeup shifts and moves around when I wear this. Just like those heavy mineral sunscreens from back in the day, it causes pilling and leaves everything feeling greasy. It's weird that it's supposed to be an organic filter sunscreen but acts like this. My eyes feel irritated when I use it. That said, I know even sunscreens known for being gentle have made my eyes sting, so if you don't have sensitive skin like I do, this might not bother you. Since this isn't particularly affordable and doesn't deliver on texture or fragrance, honestly I'd recommend just grabbing a sunscreen from a discount store instead. You'll get better value for your money.
