I used to layer lip balm over matte lipstick because I didn't like too much shine, and this one works perfectly for me. It gives just the right amount of glossy finish without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. After applying it, the formula starts to feel dry after a while. The shine fades quickly and my lips feel tight and uncomfortable. This light undertone shade is absolutely gorgeous! The color is so pretty and the saturation is just right. My lips don't feel dry at all—they stay moisturized and comfortable throughout the day. It feels so hydrating and the color payoff is amazing. The staying power could be better though. It dries down pretty quickly, if that makes sense. It's not actually dry, but it looks parched on the lips.
