The application is absolutely fantastic! I'd recommend getting both the autumn muted and warm shades. I normally never use lip balm-type lipsticks, but this one applies so smoothly and really helps with dry patches. Plus, when I use it as a lip accent, it looks absolutely gorgeous. When you first apply it over foundation, it looks great, but if you layer it two or three times, the color tends to get a bit darker and more brownish. The color is absolutely gorgeous. It applies with a sheer finish, so you can wear it even without any base makeup for that natural look. The moisture fades pretty quickly, but the color definitely sticks around. That said, it does feel a bit dry on the lips. Since it has some tinting power, the more you layer it, the deeper it gets... I don't usually check the mirror much, and when I noticed my lips felt dry, I thought the product had worn off, so I added another coat. Big mistake! No pilling at all, and it glides on so smoothly with a beautiful hydrated finish. The lip shine is subtle and elegant, not overdone. The staying power is a bit short-lived. Even though I'm a cool-toned summer type, isn't this just stunning? I'm obsessed. My first impression of this lipstick was that it felt warm and deep! Compared to other shades in the same Espoir line, this one really stood out for being noticeably deeper and richer-looking. It has such a luxurious vibe. Because the color is so intensely deep, it's definitely not for everyone - even those with neutral undertones might find it bold. But honestly? I absolutely adore warm, deep shades, so this color is just breathtaking for me! If I were an autumn warm-toned deep type, I genuinely think I'd skip buying other lipsticks and just wear this one all the time. That's how much I love this shade. There's definitely brown in the mix, but there's also a subtle hint of red undertone! If you're a brown lipstick enthusiast looking for that perfect shade, I really recommend swatching it in person before purchasing. Since I'm such a sucker for red-brown tones, this feels even more beautiful to me. Also, the applicator tip is thinner than other glossy lip products, which makes it so easy to apply with precision! It's definitely thinner than the Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm. In photos, it looks surprisingly bright and reddish, but in real life it's actually much deeper. The color definitely deepens when it sets on your lips, which is exactly what I was hoping for! The only downside is that it doesn't suit my skin tone, so I can't really wear it. The color payoff is really impressive, and even though it does wear off my lips fairly easily, it actually lasts quite a long time. If you apply it without exfoliating first, it can look a bit patchy. I'm already on my second bottle of this product, and I have to say, the color payoff is absolutely stunning. I really hope they keep this shade exactly as it is because it's just so beautiful and luxurious-looking. Honestly, I can see myself using this for years to come. This is truly a must-have for warm skin tones. I tried my friend's and loved it so much that I'm on my nth repurchase. If you have warm undertones, you really need to give this a try. Nothing major to complain about, but the price feels quite steep. If you're a student or on a tight budget, it might be hard to justify buying this repeatedly.
