My skin used to be in really great condition, but over the past couple of months it's been a mess due to stress and hormonal breakouts. While this product alone didn't make my acne disappear overnight, I used it alongside prescription treatments like azelaic acid cream and other targeted serums. I applied it in different ways depending on my needs - sometimes I'd dampen a soft facial tissue with it and gently wipe my face, other times I'd pat it on directly, and when I wanted extra hydration, I'd pour some into my palm and massage it in. Then I'd layer oils, creams, and treatments on top. There's this white powder inside that I'd shake before applying - I'm not entirely sure if it boosts the calming effect, but since my skin improved, it must be doing something right! When I shook it before use, it created quite a bit of foam, which was honestly surprising. I've never seen another product foam up this much when shaken, so it was definitely different. After using this entire line for over a week, my skin texture felt noticeably clearer. My face went from being absolutely covered with about 12 breakouts a month to having just a few small bumps and minimal inflammation - it's such a huge improvement. I'm not entirely sure why it creates so much foam when shaken, but I don't think it's from anything harmful. If anything, I suspect it might be because the formula is so gentle and free from unnecessary irritating ingredients. Whatever the reason, it definitely feels soothing and calming, so I'm happy with it. I used it as an exfoliating toner and noticed a real difference with the gentle exfoliation. After using it for a while, my skin felt calmer and clearer, and that annoying itchiness I usually get on my face completely went away. The rice powder that settles at the bottom didn't feel right for me, so I used it without shaking. It left my skin feeling quite dry and tight, so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with dry skin. I love how lightweight and non-sticky this formula feels on my skin. The ingredients are gentle and clean, so I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts. I usually use an ice pack with tea tree extract, so when I found this in a larger size, I decided to grab it. It's really convenient to use without any issues. The snap-cap design on this toner was new to me, and I have to say it's super practical! I didn't really feel that hydrating sensation I was hoping for. But then again, it's a water-based toner, so I guess that's just how it is. The tea tree ingredient really does make a difference - I noticed my breakouts actually decreased! When my skin feels dry, I just apply it as is, but when I have a lot of acne, shaking it up first and then applying it works wonderfully. When my skin gets dry and starts flaking, the product doesn't seem to work as effectively, which was disappointing. If you use an exfoliating toner beforehand, the absorption gets even better!
