I'm not entirely sure, but I think everyone finds products that work best for their own skin type and needs. I'm not really sure! This is honestly the best soothing mask I've ever tried. I usually deal with a lot of redness and heat on my face, but the moment I apply this, it feels incredibly cooling. Most other masks only feel refreshing right when you put them on, but this one keeps that cool sensation going the entire time you're wearing it, which I absolutely love. A skincare specialist recommended it to me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ingredients actually are! Plus, while I'm wearing it, I wonder if it might be a bit too intense, but here's the thing—it's the only mask that actually calms down my redness once I take it off!! The main downside is that there's way too much essence in this mask. It's honestly excessive. When I'm peeling it off, it gets so slippery and drenched that it doesn't come off cleanly—I've definitely had moments where I just gave up. And when you do apply it, the essence drips everywhere, down your eyes and neck, so you end up having to wipe it away with tissues. Even when I squeeze out a little less from inside, it still happens. Honestly, there's so much essence that you could probably use it to moisturize your whole body. Also, because it's incredibly cooling, it might be too intense for sensitive skin. My skin is on the sensitive side, so I don't use it that often—I mainly save it for summer. At the skincare clinic, they layer gauze over this mask and then apply a modeling pack on top, and let me tell you, it feels absolutely amazing and so refreshing. While the sheet isn't super soft, it adheres beautifully to the skin. The soothing effect is fantastic, and when I kept it in the fridge during summer and used it, the cooling sensation was absolutely amazing. Even now, whenever my skin is acting up, I pull it out and use it because it really works wonders. This is my holy grail product. Since my skin is dry and sensitive, it gets blotchy and breaks out easily, but this one works so well that I've lost count of how many boxes I've gone through. It feels refreshing and hydrating, so it seems to work well for any skin type. I don't really have any complaints and I'm using it regularly. Whenever I have breakouts or feel heat and redness on my face, I always reach for this one and it calms everything down beautifully.

I took it off right away and even did a water cleanse, but exactly one hour later, my skin turned incredibly red and three breakouts appeared If you have sensitive, redness-prone skin that doesn't tolerate menthol, please avoid using this product

The material isn't too thick and it adheres perfectly to your face, which feels wonderful. I love using it on days when I'm worried about breakouts forming. I use it straight from the refrigerator, and even at room temperature it feels refreshingly cool. But when I chill it first, it gets almost too cold for comfort. That said, the extra cooling sensation does provide an even more soothing effect, so I can't really complain!

Even though each sheet costs less than a dollar, I definitely notice a soothing effect after using it. The sheet itself is thin and comfortable to apply, making it perfect for times like these when your skin needs extra care. The sheet is thin yet generous in coverage, so it works great for guys too! It's frustrating that you can't buy just one sheet at a time! You have to purchase at least 10 sheets in a pack. Their collagen mask is also popular, but if you want real calming benefits, this cica mask is the way to go! Don't expect results after just one use! You'll want to apply it consistently for about 3 days straight to see the difference. This mask pack feels incredibly refreshing with an amazing cooling effect. Since it's specially formulated for soothing without any oily residue, I think you could use it daily without any issues. Especially for those with sensitive skin who break out immediately when there's any oil on their face - I was really struggling with irritation and even had some uncomfortable bumps around my lips, but this mask calmed everything down right away. The cooling and soothing benefits are actually stronger with the Cellfusion C mask pack. That said, the Cellfusion C pack is better used once or twice a week, or on days when your skin is really acting up, whereas this pack is light enough and effective enough to use every single day. 1. Calming Effect On days when my face is completely flushed and red, I apply a generous amount of essence from the mask onto my skin first, then use the mask. Within a few minutes, my skin calms down beautifully and my complexion becomes noticeably brighter. 2. Cooling Sensation The cooling effect is incredible! Whether it's the tea tree or mint component, there's definitely a refreshing feel to it, but it's not the kind of sting that irritates sensitive skin. Instead, it actually helps lower your skin temperature. The cooling sensation is so strong that when I refrigerate it and apply it, my face feels like it's freezing! That's why I just keep it at room temperature now. 3. Hydration The amount of essence is so abundant that the hydration level is seriously impressive. The absorption is so rich that after I remove the mask, I have to massage my face quite a bit to help it fully absorb. Because of all that moisture, my skin looks radiant and feels incredibly clear. 4. Generous Essence Amount There's so much essence both inside the packet and soaked into the mask itself that it's impossible to ignore. I absolutely love how generous the product is! I honestly can't think of any downsides. Oh, and if you search online, you'll find it super easily. The price is actually more affordable compared to regular sheet masks, so I'm really happy with it! Esthermax has other sheet masks available, but the tea tree one is definitely my favorite!
