My skin type has been quite oily lately, especially around my mouth where I'm experiencing flaking and significant dryness. #Packaging It comes in a cylindrical pump bottle. Gorgeous packaging, pink formula, gorgeous shimmer, has that pudding-jelly bounce and stretchy texture, but applies smoothly without any clumping. After application, it feels like you're barely wearing anything. The application feels like applying aloe gel. The packaging is inconvenient. You can't see the product inside, and since it's a pump dispenser, there's no way to tell how much is left or what condition it's in. After just 3 days of use, my face completely reacted badly. I stopped using it on my face. Then I tried using it on my body like a body emulsion, and I got breakouts like magic. I tried mixing it 1:1 with aloe gel to make it work somehow. After that, no more bad reactions on my body. Since my body was fine, I got curious and tried mixing it 1:1 for my face. It wasn't as bad as using it straight, but my face got blotchy and the irritation caused breakouts, so I stopped using it on my face. I was using it like a body emulsion when some got on my hands, and then I used my skin emulsion, which made my face blotchy and slightly reactive. Conclusion: it's just not for me. I'm currently using it diluted 1:1 like a body emulsion. I tend to have dry skin underneath, but since it's summer, the dryness isn't as severe. Instead, I've been noticing excess oil in my T-zone and below my lips. When I apply a hydrating skincare routine before bed, I wake up the next morning with shine all over my T-zone and chin. This leads to sebum control issues and those pesky small breakouts. So when I try to reduce my skincare steps or use less product, my skin feels rough after cleansing the next day—some areas feel tight and parched, while others feel like a breakout is about to happen. It's honestly the worst situation. But a few weeks ago, I won a slow aging kit and got to try the Fitroot Super Protein Jumping Serum, which ranks number one in anti-aging serums. I expected it would definitely help with hydration since anti-aging and moisture go hand in hand, but I didn't expect my skin texture to become silky smooth after applying it. One pump dispenses a perfect amount of pink-tinted serum with a bouncy, gel-like texture—not too thin, not too thick. When I apply it to my skin, there's this popping sound, like the bouncy liquid droplets are gently colliding with each other. If you're planning to apply toner and the jumping serum followed by an emulsion or cream, try waiting just one to two minutes after applying the jumping serum when you first use it. You'll definitely feel that hydrating barrier and silky skin effect.
