The mask adheres really well and comes generously saturated with essence. Even though the sheet is thin, it doesn't slip or drip, so I can apply it and go about my day without worry. The hydration level is just right—not overwhelming—and my skin looks beautifully dewy the next morning. I'm really happy with how it performs. One edge of the packaging has an unusual oval shape, which makes it tricky to open from the opposite side. The mask fits my face perfectly. The formula is packed with plenty of product, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. I've noticed that all of Freemei's ampoule masks tend to leave residue on my skin after use. I was really surprised when the collagen ampoule mask did this before, and unfortunately this one does too, though not quite as much. The fragrance is lovely and it's packed with essence. The fabric feels comfortable and gentle on the skin. I didn't see any real results from this mask. Nothing changed right after using it, and the same went for the next day. The essence felt heavy and didn't absorb well into my skin. When I woke up the next morning, the essence had dried like gel and even got stuck in my hair. My face was left with a lot of residue that just sat on top of my skin instead of sinking in. It felt like a film coating my face rather than hydrating it. Honestly, this mask is only good for cooling down irritated skin, but it's not as effective as my regular skincare routine. I'm planning to use it just to reduce heat and redness, then rinse off the essence and go back to my normal skincare.

I don't remember much about the sheet mask itself, so it was probably just fine. After using the pack, there's quite a bit of stickiness left behind. The absorption is a bit on the slower side. The scent is really not great. I applied the leftover essence on my body and it has this slightly off, strange smell to it. When I applied it thinly on my body it was okay, but after doing the pack on my face, the essence starts to pill and flake off. I saw other reviews mentioning this pilling effect and wondered what they meant, but now I get it—after finishing the pack, it does pill up a bit.

My forehead always peeks out from under my regular masks, but with all this extra serum, I can apply it generously to those exposed areas. Plus, the material is see-through when you peel it open, so it doesn't bunch up uncomfortably on your face. The mask material itself gets mushy and falls apart if it doesn't dry all at once. It just didn't work for my skin type, and it ended up sliding right off. Here's a pro tip: when you take it out, check the creases and smooth it out flat. Then spread your fingers wide and use them to support it as you apply it. Grab the top right and top left corners, then gently press it onto your face for the best fit.

The ampoule is generously sized, so you can use it all over the exposed skin areas when wearing summer clothes. Plus, since it's a hydrating ampoule, it really calms down any heat sensation and smooths out that uncomfortable tight, congested feeling on your skin. The sheet is so transparent that it takes forever to open and unfold, and by the time you get it out, it's warmed up so much that refrigerating it beforehand was pointless (though standing in front of a fan while using it helps). When you apply the ampoule to your face and body, it doesn't fully absorb and just rolls off like little flakes. When it comes to cosmetic samples, the expiration date matters way more than the order you received them in. If you write the expiration date on each sample and organize them by date, you'll use them all up efficiently without having to throw any away after they expire.
