The absorption is incredible, and how it blends seamlessly with creams and foundation is just perfect. Honestly, if I had the money, I'd use this forever—it's my absolute favorite product. When my skin feels tight and flaky, I just apply this and it absorbs instantly, leaving my face glowing and smooth the next day. It pairs beautifully with foundation, especially La Prairie. Since it's a regenerating oil, I use it on my lips when they're chapped and on my face when it's irritated from cold wind. The results are amazing—my skin looks so smooth and renewed the next morning. I'm obsessed with how well it actually works. The only real downside is the price tag. And honestly, in summer, it feels a bit heavy in the morning. But even then, when I mix it with foundation, that gorgeous glow is worth it, so I use it anyway. It's still the best. Apply this to any areas of your face that need rejuvenation and renewal. You'll genuinely see the difference in your skin the very next day. The ingredient blend is truly excellent. No irritation or breakouts, and it absorbs beautifully. The formula is rich and nourishing without feeling heavy. The price feels a bit steep to me. I usually stick with Sisley, and I don't think Fresh's pricing is unreasonable in general, but this product feels overpriced. There are plenty of oils in the 20,000-30,000 won range with solid ingredients, so it's not a must-have. Beyond hydration, I'm not sure what else it does. The real trick is mixing 2-3 drops into your nourishing cream or hydrating cream. This is honestly the only Fresh product with genuinely good ingredients. It's worth buying and using. This facial oil is perfectly formulated for dry skin. I think you can use it year-round except during summer. I personally blend it with an ancient-inspired cream about once a week and use it for massage, and it absorbs beautifully and applies so smoothly when you avoid the hot summer months. I really love how it works! The main drawback is definitely the price. I wish there was a smaller size available. With most skincare products, I end up throwing them away after opening them, regardless of whether there's product left after a year, but this one always has leftover and it feels wasteful. Apply it together with an ancient-inspired cream and massage it in, then gently wipe away any excess and let it absorb into your skin. I have incredibly complicated skin—dehydrated, sensitive, prone to redness, stress-triggered breakouts, and hormonal flare-ups. Plus, I have acne scarring on my cheeks that really gets me down. When my skin first went haywire in college, I bounced around trying different brands like I was searching everywhere for answers. It took me over a decade to find what actually works for me. Two years ago, I discovered ingredient checkers and apps that help me avoid harmful components, and my skin finally stabilized. When my usual products ran out, my mom gave me samples of Fresh Lotus and Ancienne, and wow—the Ancienne line is absolutely incredible! The oil especially has the best absorption I've ever experienced, and it doesn't feel greasy at all, which is amazing. Since I have dehydrated skin, my moisture usually evaporates by afternoon and I get that awful oily, flaky feeling. But with the Ancienne oil, my skin's hydration and oil balance are so well-matched that everything feels calm and balanced. After using the Ancienne samples (oil, serum, eye serum, and cream) for about three weeks, I noticed my breakout marks actually faded, so the regenerating effect is definitely powerful. What I notice most is how much my skin texture has improved. I finally took the plunge and ordered the full Ancienne line, and I'm so excited to see what happens next. If you have dehydrated skin like me, I absolutely recommend the oil! The Fresh Ancienne line is really pricey, which is tough. I'm still waiting a few more months to use my duty-free allowance, so I ended up buying it online where it's at least a bit more affordable. The oil does tend to develop that characteristic scent over time since that's just how oils are, and I wish there was a smaller size option available—that would be really helpful. Morning routine: I cleanse based on how my skin feels that day—sometimes just with water, or I use an Acozé pH-balanced cleanser on just my nose and forehead. After cleansing, I pat in Ancienne toner with my hands, then add 2-3 drops of Ancienne oil and gently press it in, using the remaining oil on my nose area. I apply Ancienne eye serum with 2-3 pumps across my whole face, then finish with Celfusion C sunscreen and RMK foundation. Evening routine: I cleanse 1-2 times with Acozé pH-balanced cleanser, then use either Fresh Rose Mask, Dermalogica Colloidal treatment, or Baiyou mask for exfoliation and hydration care. I apply Ancienne toner, then 5-7 drops of Ancienne oil, and finish by warming the Ancienne cream in my hands before pressing it in. Using the oil really does keep my skin dewy all day long. Personally, during the day I use the eye serum as an emulsion and skip the cream, going straight to sunscreen, and this approach has really helped improve my skin too. The Ancienne line is expensive, but the results are genuinely amazing. It feels lightweight yet lasts all day long, and the hydration is wonderful. I have dry skin and some congestion around my chin area, but this product is so gentle and works beautifully for me. The product itself is absolutely amazing. However, the price is quite steep, which makes it hard to justify purchasing regularly. During these winter months, I mix it with an oil and moisturizer in my final skincare step, and it keeps my skin from feeling parched. It works great this way.
