I was researching sunscreen options for summer and recently picked up Fromly Sun Serum. I've been using it consistently for several days now. Initially, I expected a lightweight, powdery finish based on the product name, but when I actually tried it, I noticed it has a bit more oil content than I anticipated. The application felt smooth and hydrating, so my first impression was positive. As time passes, it develops a subtle dewy sheen, which might feel a bit heavy for oily or combination skin during summer. However, for dry skin or winter use, this level of moisture actually seems quite nice. Overall, I'm satisfied that it's gentle without any irritation and doesn't pill. That said, if you're specifically looking for a truly lightweight sun serum, you might find this slightly disappointing. I bought Fromly Sun Serum expecting a lightweight, powdery finish, but when I actually used it, the oil content was more noticeable than expected, which was a bit disappointing. The initial application felt really smooth and hydrating with great spreadability. There's no irritation and the scent isn't overpowering, so the first impression was fine. However, as time goes on, I noticed a slight oily film building up on my skin. Especially around my T-zone and nose, by afternoon there's some shine that develops, which was disappointing since I was hoping for that powdery finish. When I used it with foundation, there were times when it felt slightly slippery. Of course, for those with dry or dehydrated skin, this level of hydration could actually be an advantage. But if you have oily or combination skin, it might feel a bit heavy during summer. That said, I was satisfied with the gentle, non-irritating feel, the sun protection, and how lightweight it feels even when applied before makeup. However, if you're expecting a truly powdery sun serum like I was, you might end up disappointed like me. I found that when I gently press it with a tissue after the final step of my morning skincare routine before applying it, the finish becomes much more lightweight. Alternatively, when I pair it with a powder-based primer, the oiliness reduces and my makeup lasts longer too. - da*********Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenTế bào da chết11/09/2025 (UTC+0)
My skin has been getting worse, so I've been searching for powder-free foundations. Since I wasn't sure what to use, I decided to try the sample pack. If I had to find something positive, it's that they offer sample packs to test. Plus, it has sunscreen protection built in. This doesn't feel like a BB cream at all. It's a sunscreen with white cast. No brightening effect, just heavy white cast. I usually wear shade 21, and my skin is naturally fair with visible veins, so people often comment that I look pale. But this BB cream doesn't even out my skin tone—it just sits on top like a thick white layer with a grayish tint. It's honestly worse than the budget-friendly tone-up sun cushion from the drugstore. I thought I'd apply it to my neck instead, but for the first time in my life, I broke out on my neck from this product. Despite being called an ampoule, it doesn't spread smoothly when applied. I have zero interest in repurchasing. I posted that I wouldn't repurchase after seeing it trending on Instagram, but my comment got deleted.

Hydration: It's not drying at all and has a lightweight consistency that provides just the right amount of moisture. Skin appearance: It delivers a noticeable brightening effect rather than color correction, with a subtle luminous finish. Makeup compatibility: It applies smoothly over other products without any patchiness or lifting. Longevity: It holds up wonderfully throughout the day, staying radiant without clumping or separating. Coverage: While it combines sunscreen and BB cream benefits, it leans more toward a brightening sunscreen, so it might not be the best choice if you're looking for fuller coverage. Price: It's on the pricier side compared to similar products, which is a bit disappointing.
