When I first applied it, I was honestly underwhelmed by the color payoff at first glance. But then after about 3 minutes? It absolutely blew me away!!! The shade is absolutely gorgeous! The staying power is solid and reliable, and I love that it doesn't emphasize dry patches or flakiness. Such a relief! The only thing is, true to its glossy name, this product is incredibly sticky. This lip gloss deserves a spot as my life essential! Even though it's gotten warmer, I just can't give up on lip gloss, haha! 1. The perfect texture between glossy and sticky This gloss has a really nice viscosity! Because it has that body to it, it doesn't slide around and the shine actually lasts. I'm someone who hates when glosses are too thin because they just slip off my lips and the shine fades quickly, so I'm all about a gloss with some substance. This one totally delivers! 2. Incredible color payoff for a gloss I'm the type who loves a gloss that's pigmented enough that I don't need to wear a separate lip tint, and honestly, this one exceeded my expectations! Even one swipe gives you that tinted lip effect. If you have a light undertone, this vibrant pink shade is absolutely essential to have in your collection! The container closure is a bit disappointing. Once you open it, it doesn't seal tightly anymore, so there's a risk of the product leaking. I think it looks the prettiest when I just line my lips with a lip pencil and then apply this gloss on its own! This gloss product has absolutely stunning lip shine! I love that the color intensity varies depending on the concentration, so you can choose the option that suits your preference perfectly. The formula delivers a beautiful glossy finish without any sticky residue, which is fantastic. Plus, the staying power is incredible as long as you're not eating, so I really can't recommend this jewel-toned lip gloss enough. What's even better is that since there's no staining, even the 70% intensity version applies to your lips with a crystal-clear yet vibrant color that looks absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is the longevity, which is honestly just a typical issue with glosses in general, so I don't think there's much you can do about it. If they had boosted the staying power with added pigment, I don't think we'd get this beautiful color payoff anyway. For a bare face, I apply it once with a single swipe, and when I'm wearing makeup, I layer it two or more times to create a voluminous, glossy lip finish. I personally love it so much. The lip plumping effect and color are beautifully expressed. I'm personally so satisfied that I have no complaints. For a bare face, I just define my lip line slightly with a lip liner and apply the product—it looks absolutely gorgeous. I bought this glossy lip color to layer over my cool-toned nude lipstick for extra shine. The color is quite subtle on my lips on its own, so I apply it as a gloss over my lipstick and it looks absolutely gorgeous - like a candy-coated finish that's so pretty! The staying power isn't the best, to be honest. But then again, that's pretty typical for glossy lip products, so it's totally fine with me. When I layer it over a ruby-toned lipstick, it gives off a cooler vibe that I really love. If I apply it over a deeply pigmented tint, it actually lasts longer. My favorite trick is doing a lip stain in the morning and just carrying this gloss with me throughout the day - I can skip bringing multiple lipsticks and still have that gorgeous candy-coated lip look all day long. Though I will say, when I wear just this gloss by itself, the color payoff is a bit sheer.
