    Skin Type: I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry areas elsewhere. My skin is thin and sensitive. Packaging: I really appreciated that it wasn't over-packaged, and it came with clear instructions. The 50ml size feels generous, and the dropper is long enough that I can use every last drop of product from the bottom of the bottle. Texture: While the formula feels like water, it doesn't leave a watery finish on my skin. Instead, it feels refreshingly light and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth. It temporarily minimizes the appearance of flaking. Hydration: I expected the water-like texture to feel dry, but it actually delivers a decent level of moisture. That said, it's not intensely hydrating—it's more like a standard toner in terms of hydration. If you have very dry skin, using this alone might feel a bit parched. Flaking: My skin tends to have some flaking, and while I didn't see dramatic results during the trial period, I did notice a noticeable reduction. The flaking didn't completely disappear, but it's definitely less noticeable.
    Irritation (Not Recommended for Sensitive Skin): My cheeks are normally dry and don't break out, but after using this product, I started getting persistent breakouts on my cheeks. Plus, when my skin wasn't in great condition, the product felt stinging and uncomfortable. I don't think this is suitable for daily use. Absorption of Follow-Up Products: The description mentioned that this product enhances the absorption of subsequent skincare products, but I honestly didn't notice that effect. Skin Texture: Right after application, my skin feels temporarily smooth, but overall skin texture didn't really improve noticeably.
    Skip this product when your skin is acting up, and instead try layering it 2-3 times the night before you have plans. You'll wake up with noticeably less flaking the next day!

    * This is my honest review after testing the product as a member of the beauty community. Used every morning and evening for a week after cleansing * ★★★★★ I'm giving this a perfect 5-star rating. Skin texture: ★★★ The galactomyces ingredient works beautifully for my skin. I've tried various Missha products with this ingredient before, but this is my first time using it as a serum! Since I can apply it directly to my skin without using a cotton pad, it's so convenient and my skin texture feels noticeably refined. I wish the results showed up better in photos! Flakiness improvement: ★★★★ Since it's winter and my skin is dry, this serum is fantastic for calming the flaking I was experiencing on my cheeks and nose. I used to get so much peeling on my nose bridge that I'd worry even when wearing just sunscreen, but after using this serum, it's completely resolved. The fact that I'm not breaking out tells me the PHA ingredient is a perfect match for my skin. Texture and spreadability: ★★★ Being a serum, it does have some viscosity, but I apply just one drop to my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, then quickly massage it in with my palms. It absorbs fast, so I can apply my emulsion right after without any wait time.
    Scent: ★★ The galactomyces has a slight smell like rice water or saliva, which was a bit off-putting when I first opened it. However, the scent disappears once I apply it to my skin. I guess this is just how it is, so I'm getting used to it. Dryness: ★★★★ Using just this serum alone during winter isn't enough for me. Even though I follow up with a hydrating cream and finish with an emulsion that has oils, then apply sunscreen, my skin still feels tight and dry. My face feels more parched than when I use just a toner. I'm not sure if it's because of the brightening ingredients or if the wrinkle-smoothing effect is causing the tightness. I'll keep testing and update my review.
    Since this contains brightening ingredients, please make sure to apply sunscreen daily. If you have sensitive skin, test it on your neck and jawline first before applying it to your face. For wrinkle improvement, extend the application down to your neck! Apply any leftover product to your elbows as well.
