During the swatch test, it looked like a deep red matte tint, but when I apply it to my lips, it transforms into a bright red mixed with pink. The color payoff is really vibrant, so my lips look so healthy and flushed when I wear it. The only downside is that it does transfer a bit when I wear a mask. The staining power is quite light though. If you apply it directly without using a lip balm first, it tends to emphasize dry patches and flakiness on your lips, which is disappointing.
