I absolutely love Hince products because they're so reliable and affordable. The coverage is fantastic and the finish is beautifully matte. I love how natural and effortless this looks! The lightweight application and sheer coverage are exactly what I wanted. The shade is slightly darker, so going one tone lighter would probably be perfect for me. I barely noticed any darkening, which is great! The main downside is that it takes a while to set. I have to apply a mattifying sunscreen before the foundation for it to set faster, which really extends my makeup routine. Even after it sets, if I skip powder and go out, the foundation completely wears off. And even with powder, it doesn't last more than a few hours before it starts to separate or fade. Since I tend to sweat a lot in summer anyway, the biggest issue is that it's almost completely gone after just 2-3 hours outside. That's really disappointing. It does run a shade lighter, so if you typically wear shade 21, you might want to consider going up to shade 22 for a better match. I usually wear shade 21, but this one has a noticeably lighter tone, so I've had to use a bronzer on my neck to blend it in and even out my complexion. If you prep your skin with a solid skincare routine and apply a primer underneath, this foundation performs even better.
