Formulation + Application + Absorption - It's not overly thick, and since it's not a watery texture, it doesn't drip down your face when you apply it, which is so convenient! Plus, the moment you apply it, you get this lovely cooling effect that makes your skin feel refreshed and comfortable. There's no clumping at all, making it absolutely perfect as the final step in your skincare routine! It absorbs quickly without any greasy residue, so you can move on to your next step right away - definitely worth recommending! Even though my skin is dry, this actually feels like it's giving me an extra boost of hydration. Unlike other primers, I don't experience any dryness later on, which makes it such a great choice for winter! The scent is a lovely floral fragrance that I really enjoy! The primer effect itself isn't dramatic - it's more of a "you don't realize how much you need it until you use it" kind of product. Once you start using it, you'll definitely notice the difference! Before I dive in, I want to thank both the brand and the other party for being so understanding. 📌 My Skin Profile : Somewhere between dry and combination : As someone who struggles with base application, my makeup looks fine in summer, but come fall and spring, foundation settles into every fine line. My friends tell me I'd be better off going bare-faced at that point. : Currently using a warm-toned brightening base mixed with a BB cream 📌 Formula Characteristics : Thick, gel-like texture with fine shimmer : I was worried the shimmer would emphasize texture, but once blended, it's barely visible. : I checked other primers and found they also have fine shimmer like this one. Whether it's this brand's primer or competitors', the shimmer doesn't show up noticeably on skin. 📌 No Lifting Around the Lips and Textured Areas : My mouth area and face perimeter are where my base usually lifts the worst. As you can see in the last photo, even though some peach fuzz is visible, the base isn't clumping with the hair. This is a first for me. Since I can't remove the hair right now, it shows pretty clearly, but honestly, this is impressive for my skin. I literally shouted "Eureka." 📌 Delays Dehydration : After eating a heavy meal, my allergies flared up, so I was applying ointment instead of moisturizing. Between the allergy and the resulting flaking, I couldn't even properly apply emulsion or sunscreen, let alone foundation. My skin improved before I started testing. : Without primer: Blotting paper + Essence + Emulsion + Cream + Mineral sunscreen + Base = Dehydration within 2 hours of application : With primer: Blotting paper + Essence + Emulsion + Primer + Base = Dehydration after 7 hours of application 📌 Simplified Skincare Routine : For combination skin, applying cream and sunscreen before the primer felt a bit heavy, so I skipped those and just used the primer. I save 5-10 minutes, and I absolutely love that. 📌 More Detailed Instructions Would Help : Since primers aren't super common, I wasn't sure when to use it. I watched a YouTube tutorial and figured out the application order myself. : For people like me who use both mineral sunscreen and a tinted base together, the instruction "use before base" was a bit confusing. So let me clarify: : Regular sunscreen = Sunscreen - Primer - Base (cushion, etc.) : Mineral or tinted coverage products = Primer - Mineral/Tinted sunscreen - Base 📌 Could Use More Adhesion : I definitely noticed my skin looked better with the primer than without, but I didn't get that "locked-in" feeling. A bit more staying power would be great. 📌 The Packaging Feels a Bit Dated : I really love the brand's Second Skin foundation ads and find that image fresh. But this primer's packaging doesn't match the brand image I have in mind, and it feels a bit juvenile. Even as the brand expanded their color range, I felt they maintained their refined aesthetic, but this product doesn't give me that feeling at all. I'm disappointed with the brand's visual direction. 📌 Please Release This Soon : I found out it's not even launched yet. Please, just release it. Other primers are so expensive that I hesitate to buy them, but if this brand offered a smaller size at a more reasonable price, it could be a solid alternative. Attention to anyone with lots of peach fuzz like me: 1. Use one and a half to two pumps of primer : One pump isn't enough. 2. Always blend from the center of your face outward, never use a rolling motion : The moment you roll or blend inward, the peach fuzz stands up and you lose that smooth finish. 3. Don't tap to absorb : It makes the peach fuzz stand up. Just blend a few times and let it sit until the moisture disappears. This step helps the primer adhere the peach fuzz to your skin. If you do this, even if you have lots of peach fuzz like me, your base will stick really well.

The name really says it all—this product truly "boosts" your makeup. My first impression was how incredibly smooth and lightweight it applies. There's barely any stickiness or heavy feeling, and it creates a subtle moisture layer on your skin that leaves your complexion looking perfectly refined before you even apply foundation or cushion. Because of this, my foundation and cushion blend so much more evenly and smoothly. Another thing I loved was the subtle glow it gives. It's not that overly shiny, glass-like shine—instead, it's a natural radiance that seems to come from within your skin, making your face look brighter and more alive. Even after layering base products on top, that luminosity stays intact. People have actually told me my skin looks really well-defined because of it. For areas where you want to enhance the glow (cheekbones, center of forehead, tip of chin), warm it slightly between your palms and press it in gently for a natural, radiant finish. Using your fingertips to melt it in rather than buffing with a brush or sponge creates a much more vibrant, alive-looking luminosity. Here's another tip: let it absorb for about 1-2 minutes before applying your base. If you apply cushion right away, it can shift, but waiting a moment allows the surface to settle smoothly, making the next step go on much more seamlessly. You can also mix it 1:1 with your foundation to create a much more dewy glowing base. Compared to the water cream I used before, this has a lighter feel while giving off more of a luminous, glowy finish—I think I'll be reaching for it even more during the winter months! There's a subtle shimmer to it, which does enhance the glow, but I'm not really a fan of that pearlescent effect, so that's a bit of a letdown for me.
