I was curious when I saw it on sale at half price at Olive Young, so I decided to try it. I applied the cushion at 7 AM before heading to school, and even by 10 PM, except for a little touch-up on my chin and nose, the staying power is absolutely incredible. On the other hand, because it has a matte finish, if you don't apply your base properly, it shows right away. It's really frustrating. When applying your base, if you use a really hydrating serum or cream, it works amazingly well. I absolutely love how bright and radiant this is! It applies so smoothly and feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. It's perfect for this time of year! The coverage just isn't strong enough for me. I'd only recommend this to people with naturally clear skin or those who prefer a lighter, more luminous finish. I decided to try this cushion foundation because I kept hearing how amazing it was. First off, the mesh applicator makes it so easy to control the amount of product you use. I was worried it might be too matte and look patchy, but the semi-matte formula turned out to be perfect. The coverage is seriously impressive, the shade matches beautifully, and the staying power is absolutely incredible. Since I have combination skin, those with dry or very dry skin should be careful as the product might look patchy. I'd recommend prepping your skin with a hydrating base to be safe. You can apply it the same way you would with any regular cushion, but here's my personal tip: since it has a mesh applicator, gently swipe the puff across your skin first, then lightly tap and press it in. Wow, the color is absolutely gorgeous and even though it has a mesh texture, the coverage is surprisingly easy to control! It falls apart? Completely! This matte finish is seriously intense! I have dry skin so I bought it thinking it would be perfect for summer, but it was still super matte even in summer! Incredibly matte! I have acne-prone, oily skin. A friend recommended this cushion to me, so I decided to give it a try. And honestly, I absolutely love it! The coverage and adherence are fantastic, so my face looks really polished and put-together. The makeup doesn't feel heavy or cakey throughout the day, and I can get through the entire day without any shine showing through, even with my oily skin! I haven't found a single downside to this product yet! The mesh fabric texture applies beautifully and feels wonderful. The color is absolutely stunning and exactly what I was hoping for. What sets this cushion apart from others is how the foundation is distributed differently! It's so much easier to apply, and I love that I can pick up just the right amount of product each time. It's way too matte for me. I know it could be the dry season, but even though I have oily skin, this feels incredibly parched and I'm disappointed about that. That said, since this is a matte cushion formula, I think it would be perfect for people with really oily skin!
