What I care about most when it comes to foam cleansers is how rich and abundant the lather is, and I'm really happy with this one because it produces plenty of foam. When a foam cleanser doesn't create enough bubbles, I'm never quite sure if it's actually cleansing properly, and it tends to feel a bit irritating, which I really dislike. But this product isn't like that at all. The foam comes out beautifully full and creamy, and the cleansing power is definitely solid. With mascara, it doesn't cleanse completely, so I do need to use a separate makeup remover for that. But honestly, almost every foam cleanser is like this, so I figured that's just how it goes. Perfect for my morning cleanse routine. I especially love that it's fragrance-free. It's not overly harsh, but it doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling. If you're someone who loves that tight, stripped sensation, this might not be your match.

Since it's gentle and non-irritating, it has a mild feel to it, but honestly it was just so-so overall. That said, I really appreciated that it doesn't have any weird smell, and even though my skin has been acting up lately, there's no irritation at all. What I loved most though? It was absolutely perfect for my mom who has super sensitive skin! She usually sticks to the same products she's always used, but after trying this once, she was totally hooked. She said the lather isn't overdone, it feels soft and soothing, there's no irritation, and it leaves her skin feeling moisturized and comfortable! I was a bit disappointed with how it lathers - it doesn't seem to create much foam, which bothered me since I'm sensitive to friction. I ended up having to use more product than usual, which made the cleansing process take longer. That said, my mom who was thrilled with everything else actually loved how gentle it is, so I think this one really comes down to personal preference. Oh, and I have to mention that the ingredient list isn't as impressive as I'd hoped.

The way it washes away all that excess sebum and oil is incredible. I tested it as a standalone makeup cleanser without a second wash, and wow, the cleansing power is seriously impressive. My boyfriend even borrowed it as a shaving cream substitute when he ran out, and he said it works so much better than other products because it's smooth enough that the razor glides perfectly without tugging at his skin. The cleansing strength is honestly wild - I use it on hard-to-reach areas like behind my ears during my shower, and it works so much better than regular soap or body wash. The lather is fantastic, the scent is pleasant, and I haven't experienced any breakouts. I think I've found my forever cleanser! Even when I get oil on my hands, this cleanser removes it so much more effectively and gently than regular soap. I'm genuinely impressed with this product. Since I have oily skin, cleansing strength is the most important factor I look for in a weakly acidic foam cleanser, and this product delivers excellent cleansing performance. Plus, after washing, there's no slippery residue that you typically get with weakly acidic foam cleansers, and it rinses away cleanly and thoroughly, which is a huge bonus. The fragrance felt more synthetic than I expected, which was disappointing. The foam cleanser formula is also quite thin, so even a light pump dispenses a lot of product, making it difficult to control the amount. I think it would be better if the pump opening were a bit smaller. Additionally, the lather isn't particularly rich. Using a cleansing brush or foam net really helped improve the experience. I'd recommend this as a morning cleanser for anyone with oily skin. The cleansing power is excellent and there's no sticky residue left behind, which is great. Since it contains salicylic acid, it also helps with sebum control.

Product texture: 4 out of 5 stars When I squeezed it from the tube, the consistency was moist rather than thin. The formula held its shape when dispensed, and without rolling, it doesn't dissolve directly in water or create lather. I really felt how important the rolling motion is! Foam cleanser lather volume: 2 out of 5 stars Since I have sensitive skin, I don't apply the cleanser directly to my face. Instead, I wet my hands after dispensing the foam cleanser, dissolve it, and then apply the resulting lather to my skin. I used this AC Solution foam cleanser the same way. As you can see in the attached photo, the lather forms nicely at first, but once I start rolling it on my skin, the bubbles disappear. Rather than the lather simply collapsing, it feels like it's emulsifying and melting into an oily texture. (That said, it's not so runny that it flows like oil. The more I roll without water, the more it dissolves, so adding more water might make it feel oilier!) Fragrance: 4 out of 5 stars Most products divide people into fans and non-fans, but this scent seems to have the least polarizing effect! It has a typical soap fragrance, leaning slightly more toward herbal notes than floral. Cleansing power: 3 out of 5 stars It removes light residue from the face quite well, but for sunscreen and makeup, I'd recommend doing a second cleanse. The cleansing power was above average both with and without lather. Tightness after cleansing: 4 out of 5 stars I felt very little tightness! Normally, if I skip my skincare routine for 30 minutes, my skin feels tight, but this product didn't cause that. After cleansing, my skin felt slightly dry to the touch, but it wasn't severe, so I was satisfied. Soothing effect: 4 out of 5 stars My reactive skin flare-ups started again recently, and while the soothing effect wasn't dramatic, I could see small bumps calming down by day eight. Most importantly, it prevented that tight feeling even without using toner or essence after cleansing! In terms of effectiveness, because it has a lightweight application, I could feel it gently yet thoroughly helping remove impurities from my skin. It was perfect for a quick morning cleanse. Final thoughts and recommended skin types: Honestly, I've always preferred foam cleansers with abundant lather, and my skin was compromised before receiving this product, so I was worried about trying something new. Still, after using it for over 10 days, the unusual emulsifying texture felt strange at first and I didn't notice the benefits. In conclusion, this is the most reliable foam cleanser, so many people can confidently and comfortably choose it. The ingredients are excellent, so I recommend it for those with sensitive skin. Especially for oily skin types, since it thoroughly removes excess oil! I also encourage those concerned about tightness to give it a try. The foam cleanser has a lower lather volume, so when rolling, you need to apply it directly to skin without moisture. I find it difficult to recommend for those worried about potential irritation from direct rolling, and you may feel some dryness as you roll directly on your skin! However, you'll see it cleanse thoroughly with just four passes, and since tightness and dryness are particularly minimal, the texture issue during cleansing is the main drawback I'd point out. If you want sufficient lather, minimizing water is technically correct, but for sensitive skin types like me, I wouldn't recommend applying the foam cleanser directly to your skin immediately after dispensing.
