I loved how gentle the formula is, and I decided to buy it because they included a complimentary lip balm. The lip balm is fantastic - the ingredients are wonderful and it applies so smoothly. The cleansing power is quite weak. I grabbed Illuminel Cleansing Gel right away after checking out the product details because it seemed so gentle and lightweight. While citric acid can benefit skin in appropriate amounts, for sensitive skin like mine, high concentrations can cause irritation. So I searched endlessly for a gentle cleansing product without this ingredient, and I finally found this gem. No Residue: This is my first time using a cleansing gel, and I have to say, the texture is unique. When I apply it to my skin, it feels slippery and gel-like, and when I massage it in with my hands, I notice a slight warming sensation.
