It's solid and reliable! If you're thinking about trying a mud mask, this is a great starter product to begin with. For a mud mask, it's thinner than expected. I'm trying this for the first time and I'm really impressed! It does a fantastic job of removing impurities and dead skin cells, and my skin texture feels noticeably smoother and more refined. My skin feels incredibly soft, and I can definitely see a noticeable improvement the next day. I do go through it pretty quickly since I need to apply a generous amount, but honestly, I think the quality for the price is really great! First off, the scent is lovely and it spreads so much more smoothly than other mud masks! I really appreciate that the creamy formula doesn't irritate my skin at all. If you've had trouble with other mud masks being too harsh, I'd definitely recommend this one. It's perfect for using every day! It applies so smoothly and has this strong banana-like scent that really comes through. It spreads like a dream cream and dissolves beautifully in water. There aren't really major drawbacks, but if you don't apply it thin enough, it won't set quickly. Once it does dry, it feels a bit tight and pulling on the skin - it's basically the textbook mud mask experience. My skin type: extremely dry, atopic, prone to redness, weak skin barrier, gets rough patches when dehydrated. I use this once a week. I apply it to my nose and chin to tackle blackheads. Since I only use it about 4 times a month, the results are just okay. Since my skin is extremely dry and sensitive with redness, I was cautious when using this. This mask does a great job absorbing excess oil and applies smoothly without any irritation.
