I didn't really notice the cooling sensation, but I was really impressed with how smoothly it applies and how fresh and clean it feels on the skin. This is definitely a product I'm satisfied with! It was irritating to my skin. At first, I thought it might be a problem with my complexion, so I tried switching up my skincare routine, but it turned out this sunscreen was the culprit. Even considering that it's organic, it still felt a bit too harsh, so now I'm using it on my neck instead. Without this irritation issue, it would have been absolutely amazing, and I'm really disappointed about that. I have combination skin that leans toward dryness, with some flaking visible on my cheeks and around my lips, and my skin is quite sensitive—if I apply products incorrectly, I get an immediate stinging sensation. I used Bilberry Cool Calming Hydrating Sunscreen all summer long. First of all, I loved that it didn't feel heavy when I first applied it, and there was no eye irritation at all. Just like when I swatch it on the back of my hand, it shows this beautiful subtle blue tone and a gorgeous dewy finish. Even after applying a matte cushion over the sunscreen, the luminosity still comes through, and the flaking completely disappears—I've been really happy using this. My only hesitation is the price point.
