I really love gel-type cellulose sheet masks, so I was already happy with the sheet material itself. What I appreciate most is the clean, non-sticky finish it leaves behind. The sheet material itself is nice, and it does adhere really well to the skin. But here's the issue—it's too thick, which actually compromises how well it stays in place. If it were thinner, the mask would really shine and deliver on its promises, which is disappointing. Plus, I noticed the essence is separating. I thought the product had gone bad, but seeing the same problem in other reviews tells me this is a manufacturing issue. 1. I loved getting this at a great price during the promotion. 2. The adhesion is excellent and stays put really well. 3. I'm not used to using masks, but this one has such a fun, bouncy texture that I'm really enjoying it! Even after keeping it on for 20 minutes, it stays so pleasantly stretchy and feels amazing. It's honestly more entertaining and satisfying than I expected. I can't really complain about anything major, but while the bouncy, tactile feel is nice, it doesn't seem to deliver as much hydration as I was hoping for. I have sensitive, reddened skin, but this product doesn't cause any breakouts or irritation, which is great. I'm not sure if it's just the product I received, but the essence separated into a watery layer and a thicker layer. For sheet masks to work best, they really need to be thin so they can adhere properly to your skin, but this one feels a bit too thick, which is disappointing. Before applying the mask, I'd recommend generously layering your favorite essence or ampoule underneath first, then applying the mask on top. This product feels so much more nourishing, and I can really tell my skin is getting the hydration it needs. I have sensitive, breakout-prone skin, but it works great for me too! I absolutely love this sheet mask! It's perfect for hydrating and plumping my skin with moisture. I really can't find any downsides. The complimentary sample was great, and the price was really reasonable too.

I remembered getting a sample of their Phytoflexes cream before, and it was amazing for hydrating dry skin. Since this mask supposedly contains that same cream, I decided to give the mask a go while I finish up my current creams. I'm a big mask pack enthusiast and always pick up different brands when they go on sale. What surprised me about the Eye Recipe mask is that unlike most other masks, it's not thin and flimsy. Instead, it's a thicker gel-type pack made with biocellulose, which felt really special. The mask comes with sheet covers on both sides that you peel away before applying. Once I put it on, it felt perfectly hydrating and really soothing. I also loved that it's vegan, so I could use it with complete peace of mind. After using it, my skin felt neither dry nor irritated. If you have dry skin, this mask could be a real game-changer for you. The only minor issue I noticed is that the mouth opening is a bit larger than I expected. It seemed slightly oversized to me, so I had to carefully position the cutout to match different areas of my face. But honestly, that's just a small personal preference thing. The product itself is absolutely flawless and everything else about it is wonderful. So hydrating and moisturizing. Sometimes sheet masks can feel a bit tingly or irritating, but this one doesn't have that issue at all. Instead, it's packed with moisture and feels really gentle on the skin. I'm really happy with how it performs. You have to peel off the backing from both sides, which is annoying. The mask is a bit thick, so it doesn't adhere to the skin as well as I'd like. Plus, the price point is a bit high.
