This gel-cream formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin. I really appreciate that the main ingredient is fermented extract and the overall ingredient composition is relatively safe and gentle. The oiliness. The oiliness. The oiliness!!! I have combination skin that gets dry in my T-zone, especially during seasonal changes. Recently, I've developed some sensitivity issues after using certain products, so I wanted to be extra careful. Since my previous skincare routine had questionable ingredients, I decided to simplify and try this product to soothe my skin. Before committing to the full size, I tested the sample first since my skin had become reactive. The texture is a semi-transparent gel-cream with a pleasant natural scent that feels nice on the skin. Even though it's a gel-cream, it's not lightweight at all—it's actually quite heavy. I usually mist my skin between steps to add hydration, and this applies smoothly to damp skin. However, the thick gel texture makes it hard to spread thinly. It glides on nicely at first, but when I layer it on dry areas, it feels sticky and I have to dab it on gently instead of spreading it. When I first apply it, my skin looks dewy and luminous. It doesn't absorb immediately, but when I press it in with my hands, it does sink in—and that's when the oiliness really kicks in! The essence already has more oil than moisture, and adding this oil-rich cream on top leaves my skin feeling parched underneath while looking greasy on the surface. After application, my hands feel so slick that I have to wash them. I was interested in trying both the essence and cream since they seemed good for calming skin, but unfortunately I had to stop using them before finishing the sample because they triggered small bumps. While the oiliness felt heavy on my skin, I think this could work well for those with dry skin—they could use it as a final step after hydrating their skin thoroughly. Samples are available! I picked up a sample on a whim and I'm absolutely loving it! My skin used to be oily, but it completely transformed into very dry skin. I was using an oily skin toner and essence, but after cleansing, I'd get flaking and my skin would feel tight. So I went searching for a hydrating toner and essence for dry skin, and I tried this product. After cleansing, not only did the flaking disappear, but my skin feels so much more moisturized and dewy now. I'm really glad I tested the sample first. I've finished the sample and I'm already using the full-size version. I absolutely love how well it's working for me! The more I use it, the more my very dry skin seems to be shifting toward oily. After some time passes, I notice a bit of oiliness building up. This moisturizer truly delivers that hydrating feel when you first apply it. I do notice that around the eye area gets a bit dry after some time passes, but overall it's really good stuff. I loved how this gel-type cream felt refreshing from the first application, and it delivered on its promise with moisture that absorbed beautifully into my skin right away It was satisfying to apply with my fingers and scoop out the product, but since it's only 50ml, it runs out pretty quickly I used it generously at night as a sleeping mask alternative, and I woke up with a smooth base and plump, firm skin texture. If you love that bouncy, taut feel, I'd definitely recommend it
