The hairline filler that even K-pop idols use! As a flight attendant, I have to do my makeup frequently, so a hair cushion is practically essential for me. I used to use a different brand's hairline product, but the quantity was so small that it ran out quickly, and it would fade easily with sweat or humidity, which was always frustrating. Then, a makeup artist at a salon in Gangnam recommended Lara Choo's hair cushion, saying "even girl groups use this these days," so I decided to try it. To cut to the chase, it's truly a holy grail product for me. At first, I thought the price was a bit steep, but once I started using it, the quantity is so generous that even after using it for over a year, I haven't hit the bottom. I use it almost every single day when I go to work, and it barely seems to diminish. The value for money is actually really good. Most importantly, the color is incredibly natural-looking. When I fill in my hairline or part line, it doesn't clump, and just a light tap covers the bare spots perfectly. Other products either show or look shiny, but this one sets with a soft, powdery finish that lasts all day. Especially during shoots or briefings under bright lights, my scalp looks neat and tidy without appearing shiny or lifted, which looks so much cleaner. Even with long flight schedules and wearing a uniform hat in sweaty, humid environments, it doesn't smudge or fade. Just like the salon artist said, I can totally feel why girl groups use this for stage performances. Out of all the hair cushions I've tried, this one lasts the longest and looks the most natural. It's pricey, but it lasts forever and delivers real results, so I have zero regrets. I really recommend this to anyone like flight attendants who frequently style their hair! Review of the Black shade. Applying with a brush feels more convenient, though the puff applicator lacks a bit of precision for detailed work. Since my hair is naturally lighter, the black shade did feel a touch bold on the surface, but it looked beautifully natural when filling in the inner layers of my hair. The staying power is impressive, and it's easier to use than I expected, so I find myself reaching for it regularly. I wish this came in a wider range of shades. I've been using this for over a month now, and it's fantastic for filling in thinning areas at my crown and part line when they look too sparse. It blends seamlessly with my dark hair without looking unnatural, and it's so easy to apply. Even though there are a few minor inconveniences, I keep reaching for it anyway! Because of how hair cushion products work, there's a bit of transfer when you touch it with your fingers. My mom uses this product for her gray roots, and I usually help her spot them and tap the product on. While it doesn't dramatically cover the gray hairs, the color looks so natural that you barely notice it. I'd say it works better when you think of it as gently tapping and tinting the gray areas rather than trying to draw in new hairline coverage. That approach gives much better results. Because of how cushion products work, if you apply it wrong, it tends to clump up. Sure, it's easy to wipe off, which is convenient, but if you don't catch the clumping right away, it shows. Plus, it picks up way too much product on my fingers when I apply it. If the cushion had been thicker or had more surface area, I think it would have worked better. Since it picks up so much product, I'd recommend dabbing it on multiple times instead of trying to do everything in one go. This is absolutely fantastic! It really makes a huge difference for anyone dealing with hair loss. It genuinely improves your quality of life. I don't have any complaints, really none at all. After coloring my gray hair, within just 2 or 3 weeks the roots start showing through and it looks messy. But when I'm heading out, I just tap this on the visible parts and it looks so much neater! I try to space out my coloring sessions as much as possible since frequent coloring irritates my scalp and makes my eyes feel tired, so this product really helps me extend the time between touch-ups. It does transfer onto my hands a bit, and it tends to stick under my nails especially. It washes off easily with soap though. After applying it, you need to avoid touching your hair as much as possible to make it last longer. That said, the gray hair coverage is really good and I'm satisfied with how it works. I found that using a tail comb to section my hair along the part line and applying it gradually gives really even coverage.
