I bought this to fill in my sparse scalp areas. It does cover things up, but of course achieving perfect coverage is tricky. It rubs off easily. I really want to apply it directly to my scalp, but it's difficult to do, and then when I touch my hair even slightly, it transfers onto my hands. Plus, the back of my head is a real challenge - even with careful application, there are limits to what I can cover. I do get a slight sense of fuller coverage, but honestly it still feels lacking. That said, it might work okay for touching up gray hairs.
