* I've color-corrected this to match the shade as closely as possible! The fragrance has a lovely sweet-tart scent, and this lip product is incredibly creamy and moisturizing! I was really impressed by how quickly it delivers color compared to other moisturizing lip products! Since I have a sensitive nose when it comes to fragrance, I sometimes found the scent a bit strong. The texture is nicely hydrated and the coverage is easy to control. Like Lila by Red always does, the website swatches look quite different from the actual color on your lips, haha. When you apply it heavily to get that full pigmented look from the website, your lips can feel a bit dry and uncomfortable. But honestly, I really love the color itself. This is designed for light and muted tones, so the color payoff is quite subtle. If you try to build it up for more intensity, it starts looking chalky and feels a bit heavy on the lips. Plus, once you start moving your lips or talking, the color shifts and fades. The color is naturally beautiful! I think warm-toned people will really love this shade. For me, it feels just like my natural lip color, so I'm happy with it! My lips tend to be a bit flaky, and as time goes on, they get really dry. I'm not entirely sure what my undertone is either, but it makes my complexion look brighter and I really love that The color payoff is absolutely stunning on the first application, but the wear time isn't as long as I'd hoped. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long, and the value for money is fantastic. I'm also really happy they improved the lid design. Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. It works beautifully on bare skin and looks great over makeup too! I absolutely recommend it as a bare-lip look!!! It genuinely makes me look more radiant, and honestly, the formula feels amazing on my skin. The scent is lovely too. The packaging feels fragile. When I twist it closed, something doesn't feel quite right—it gets loose and wobbly. I have to be really careful when opening it because I'm worried the cap might crack. The tint hasn't leaked yet, but I'm constantly anxious that it might. Also, the shine doesn't seem to last as long as I'd like. The case has a boxy shape that doesn't fit quite perfectly in my usual spots, but honestly it's not something that bothers me much.
