This works wonderfully as a base! Personally, I find the color blends too closely with my natural lip tone when worn alone, so I love layering a deeper shade on top for more definition and impact. I think this would look stunning on someone with a light undertone. The application is absolutely amazing! The color is so gorgeous that I just keep applying it. It looks so pretty and beautiful! The staying power is a bit disappointing. The color is a soft pink with just a hint of purple undertone, exactly as you see it! This is that strawberry milk lip shade that cool-toned beauties have been searching for It applies with a dewy, hydrating feel at first, but the glossy finish fades way too quickly as time goes on. The color payoff is impressive, so the shade you apply in the morning stays put through the evening. If you apply too much at once, the color intensity becomes quite bold, so you'll want to control the amount you use. Some tints can feel drying on the lips, but this one feels comfortable and doesn't tug at all. The color doesn't last at all. This is my holy grail for a cool summer look. I got it as a gift and didn't have high expectations since the reviews were mixed, but wow—the color is absolutely perfect for a cool summer tone and applies beautifully! The shade is quite light, so the color payoff feels a bit sheer, almost like wearing a tinted lip balm. This is an uncommon light cool pink shade. It creates a delicate and fresh look that feels really lovely. The formula feels moisturizing and applies smoothly. There's no staining, which is great. Because it leans so cool-toned, if you're not careful with application, it can look a bit harsh or cold on the lips. Even if you have a cool undertone like me, if your natural lip color has even a slight purple tint, this shade might read as too cool and unflattering. Since the color has a whitish cast, if you apply it too thickly, it tends to look patchy and chalky. It's way more hydrating than I expected, and the color is such a gorgeous pink! Honestly, it's so perfectly suited for light undertones... but even if you don't have a light undertone, it looks beautiful when used as a base shade. It's a bit deeper pink than in the product photos, but in person it's even more pink and stunning!!! I can't really think of any downsides. It works great as a base or worn alone for a natural bare lip look I wasn't expecting the exact shade from the photos, but I'm pretty disappointed overall. It tends to separate and look patchy if you're not careful with application, and it does emphasize dry patches a bit. The color also fades and looks muddy after a while. When worn alone, the tint basically disappears and only the flaky texture shows through. The lip color has a natural shimmer that comes through beautifully in the final application It removes surprisingly easily, haha. Don't expect it to last long though
