I just swept this on with a brush and it applied so beautifully and cleanly. I'm loving my makeup look today, and I'd definitely recommend this when you want to show off a polished finish. It's not the perfect match for my skin tone, but honestly, it works really well. It seems to break pretty easily. I haven't even dropped it or moved it from its spot, but one day when I was applying it with my brush, I noticed the heart-shaped top had cracked on its own. Plus, there's quite a bit of powder fallout when I use the brush. The gold shimmer is nice though, and if I flatten the brush a bit and apply it diagonally across my cheeks, I can create a really polished, well-done makeup look. That's definitely a plus. But here's the thing, I used to use blush all over the place, even on my eyes, and this one just doesn't work that way for me. You really have to stick to just the cheeks and bridge of the nose. The color payoff was excellent and the staying power was impressive. I also noticed that when I applied multiple layers, both the color intensity and longevity improved even more. There weren't really any major drawbacks, but I did notice that dust tends to cling to the blush after application, so you'll need to be mindful about keeping it clean and well-maintained.
