This vibrant red shade is such a gorgeous color that flatters everyone! The pigmentation is really rich and intense, so a little goes a long way - I found that using just a small amount worked beautifully. This product had quite a bit of transfer, which was disappointing. Since I'm not a fan of products that smudge and transfer easily, I found myself reaching for other options instead.

I prefer something that's not too warm, not too cool, not too vibrant, and not too sheer - basically a balanced, neutral tone. It does have good color payoff, but personally I'm not a fan of that, so I end up gravitating toward these beautifully ambiguous, muted shades. I have fair skin with deep undertones. Bottom line: This is one of my current favorite tints. The case passed my standards, and the durability is solid compared to other similar products. If I really try to detect a scent, there's a faint hint of that antiseptic colored paper smell from childhood, but it doesn't bother me or feel inconvenient - it's just neutral for me, neither a pro nor a con. It's labeled as a deep undertone light shade, and while it's relatively deeper and more vibrant than a softer option, it's never too sheer or murky. I love how the finish changes so much depending on how I apply it - thin layers give me an everyday look, while a heavier application creates a statement moment. Both work beautifully. I don't experience any dryness or flaking. When it fades, it doesn't leave patchy marks - it wears away pretty evenly. When I apply it quickly without a mirror in a rush, the staying power isn't as strong. That's what I've heard from a lot of people.

It leans more toward a strong, saturated shade rather than a bright one. As someone with deep undertones, I found it came across a bit deeper than I expected. That said, I loved using it as a layering technique—I'd apply a different color as my base and then blend this one thinly on the inner part of my lips for a gorgeous gradient effect. I love how well this works for my deep undertone! It starts off feeling moisturizing and dewy, then dries down to a comfortable matte finish - I'm really happy with how it performs. The main downside is that it applies way too heavily around the lip line, which can be messy. It might just be me, but I've noticed my lips feel a bit swollen after using this tint, which is frustrating. I'm not entirely sure of my exact undertone, but based on several observations, I believe I have a deep undertone with a lighter value. My skin tone is bright, around shade 21. I'm someone who looks best in highly saturated, medium-depth colors rather than being heavily influenced by warm or cool tones. Deep undertone lovers, highly saturated skin tone people - this is highly recommended!!! I absolutely love collecting lip products among all makeup items, and if you have a deep undertone with lighter value, this is a must-have product. My lips are naturally full and have very little natural color, so whatever shade I apply shows up exactly as is on my lips - that's why I'm so passionate about lip products. The moment I saw this, I knew it would be a fail-proof product for me. Lately, I've been a bit disappointed because vibrant shades aren't coming out as much, and most lip products have muted, light-toned feels. This product completely satisfied that craving. It's almost red with just a hint of orange mixed in. Personally, I felt it was similar in color to the Gangnam Orange shade from Shu Uemura that I used before. I used that one well too, but Shu Uemura lipsticks transfer terribly - like, constantly. It feels like the lipstick keeps reforming on my lips. With this product, after one or two transfers, it doesn't transfer nearly as much, so if you like similar colors, I'd actually say this product is superior!!! The price is also much more affordable. Since I don't wear dark shades well, sometimes colors that look light to the eye can appear darker on my lips, but this one is perfectly vibrant and beautiful. Somehow the color that transfers onto tissue seems to show the true color payoff perfectly (I'm attaching a tissue photo). Color Payoff This product has excellent color payoff - you can tap it on and do a half-swipe and it still looks great. The payoff varies slightly depending on how many layers you apply. The lighter you apply it, the more orange it appears, and the heavier you apply it, the more red it becomes. Formula If you have flaking or dry patches, this formula will emphasize them. Also, this doesn't seem to be a product that blends easily with other products unless it's the exact same one. It's a mousse formula that's quite thick and sticky. Using it together with glossy lip products would be really difficult, but it blends a bit better with matte formulas. Since I have fuller lips, I didn't have much trouble applying it, but if you have thinner lips, you might find it hard to control. You'd probably need to use less product by dabbing it on your lips first. Just think of it as a typical thick, sticky mousse formula. It's different from velvet formulas! Best value for money! I picked this up because the price was so affordable, and I'm honestly impressed. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and the pigmentation is seriously incredible. Plus, the staying power is really solid too. The main thing is that the color payoff is quite intense, which makes it tricky to control. Since I usually go for a lighter makeup look on workdays, the bold red felt a bit overwhelming at first. So I just dab it on and blend it out with my fingers, haha. But honestly, when I'm in a rush, nothing beats this product!

Even if it doesn't catch the light in every corner, I'll make sure to bring out its beauty for you. With my lips and this absolutely perfect gem of a product, anything is possible! Plus, there are amazing discounts happening right now. Your skin will look absolutely radiant and glowing - you have to try applying it! I really wanted to grab the deeper shade in number 6, but it's sold out. Honestly, I think I would have loved something even more intense than the number 1 shade. If you have deeper undertones, this would be perfect for you. It has a bit of a fresh, youthful vibe to it, but it's so refreshing and lasts forever!
