You can start by using the textured side to gently exfoliate, then follow up with the soft side to refine your skin's texture. That said, I find the textured side a bit intense on my skin, so I'm careful and gentle whenever I use that side. Recently, I've been experiencing some dry patches and my skin is easily irritated. Review after 3 months of use (Overall summary) - Exfoliation works great, pad size is perfect, and there's plenty of essence This product really helps with removing dead skin and improving skin texture. When I'm worried about flakiness showing through makeup, I use one pad and my makeup applies so much better. - Sometimes pads can be too small or poor quality, but this product is excellent. Check mark: Great for exfoliation and skin texture improvement! - The exfoliation is gentle but really effective, and my skin texture has definitely improved. When I use this before makeup, the difference is noticeable. Check mark: Both pad size and quality are excellent! - The pad size is just right, and with embossing on both sides, it works great for removing dead skin and taking off makeup. Check mark: Plenty of essence, so I even use it on cotton pads too. - There's so much essence that I've also applied it to cotton pads!
