(I really recommend this as a gentle retinol starter!) • Pores and skin texture feel noticeably smoother From week 2 onward, my pores around the chin area look slightly smaller, and my skin texture feels genuinely refined. The difference is noticeable when I touch my skin! • Provides decent hydration For a retinol product, this feels quite moisturizing, so I didn't experience significant dryness even using it alone. This product totally changed my mind about retinol being drying. • Easy-to-use formula for evening routines It's a serum with the perfect consistency—not too thin, with a gel-essence texture that applies smoothly and doesn't pill. • Fine line improvement takes time I haven't noticed dramatic changes in deeper wrinkles yet, only improvements in surface lines and texture. Given how retinol works, I'll probably need to use it for 2-3 months or longer to see real results. • Daytime use is off-limits (lots of precautions) Because it's retinol, I can only use it at night, and sunscreen is absolutely essential the next day! There are so many guidelines that I had to simplify my entire skincare routine. • Even sensitive skin should use every other day at first No matter how gentle it is, retinol is still retinol! For the first couple of weeks, alternate days and always pair it with hydrating products to avoid any adverse reactions. • I highly recommend pairing this with a hydrating soothing ampoule! I use centella ampoule for calming, then this retinol product, followed by a hydrating cream. This routine has given me amazing texture improvements without any irritation. • Start with every other day and use just a pea-sized amount Using less product at first is key to adapting without irritation. Make sure to avoid the eye and lip areas when applying!

I tend to use retinol mainly in the evenings, so even a small amount lasts me quite a while. I've tried both high-concentration retinol and retinal products, but the Medicube retinol has such a subtle scent and lightweight texture that it flows like water without being too runny—more like a serum. It applies smoothly without any stickiness, and I love how my skin feels hydrated even through the morning. I couldn't really find any major drawbacks to complain about. The only thing is that the amount you get for the price feels a bit modest. Since I gradually acclimated my skin by working up from 0.1 to 0.3 concentration with other brands before using this, I had absolutely no issues. I absolutely recommend this for anyone with very dry skin. Even a tiny amount glides smoothly across your entire face, and the hydration is fantastic. The results are absolutely amazing! I've been using this for a while now and I've noticed a significant reduction in texture and uneven skin tone. My complexion just feels overall improved, you know? This product works wonders on acne scars and skin texture. I was nervous about starting retinol, so I only used it on the left side of my face for a month, and I saw a significant reduction in red marks. It's nice and hydrating, but it can feel a bit oily. During summer, I skip my moisturizer and use this alone. This is a gentle retinol that works well across your entire face. Your skin will improve overall, and it really tackles problem areas like acne, pores, and firmness. Just remember to give your skin a break about twice a week by skipping application!

A gentle retinol product that won't irritate your skin. I switched over from Primera Vita-Retinol, and this one feels less intense than that formula. I apply it before bed and wake up with that signature smooth, refined skin feeling. It's perfect for anyone just starting out with retinol, though I do notice it can be a bit drying. Since the concentration isn't super high, I'd love to use it every day, so I wish they'd offer a larger size. I received this as a gift so I wasn't sure about the price, and I applied it all over my face generously. For the amount you get, it's quite pricey. I think you could get away with using it just on specific areas instead. It has a slightly sticky feel to it. When I wake up the next morning, it looks like my skin is peeling a bit, but I'm wondering if that's just old skin shedding to make way for fresh new skin underneath. It reminds me of how my skin reacted when I used retinol products before. The amount is so little! Whether it's on sale or not, it's expensive either way. With only 30ml, there's no way you can cover your entire face with it.
