I really love how this targets those red, inflamed spots rather than just treating acne. I was so obsessed with it before that I overused it and ended up compromising my skin barrier, which was scary. Now I use it more carefully. I've gone through four bottles because it's genuinely amazing for addressing redness and irritation. I know the pads can weaken your barrier if you overuse them, but that's on me for not being more restrained. The essence is really rich and nourishing too. The main thing to watch out for is not to overuse it. Using it once a day or every other day works best. Use this just once daily or every other day. Using complementary products from the same brand My routine is: exfoliating pads as a mask, then hand sanitizer, followed by cica ampoule, and finally cica cream. Since my skin has been acting up, I'm only using these three products, and the calming effect is so fast. My skin tends to be oily in summer and dry in winter, so this product works well year-round. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and the case comes with a dedicated applicator and holder, which made it really convenient to use. I mainly used it during summer, applied it as a treatment mask, and finished with an exfoliating toner. Even without wearing sunscreen, I could see with my own eyes how noticeably the marks faded over time. I was also impressed by how quickly it calmed down sudden breakouts. One thing to note: if it accidentally gets in your eyes, it stings a bit. The pads are a bit thick and hold a lot of essence, but it was difficult to use them as a treatment mask while drying my hair. I even tried tearing one pad in half and applying it to my cheeks, but it just slipped off the same way. Like most skincare products, the results felt temporary. Since the product worked so well initially, I was disappointed that the effects didn't last. The one-touch cap design might be the reason, but I noticed the essence drying out a bit over time. I bought this to use alongside my cream, and I'm really happy with it. These pads do an amazing job exfoliating away dead skin, so they're definitely a keeper for me. I think the pore pads work better for my skin. This product seems to work really well with my skin, so I'm using it consistently It can vary depending on the product, but when you first use the pads, the top part doesn't have enough toner saturated on it, so you might need to use several pads before getting good coverage
