The texture is a bit thick, but it spreads beautifully across the face and absorbs really well when I gently pat it in! Honestly, my skin is a total mess right now. Between my work keeping me up at night and my chaotic sleep schedule, I'm dealing with milia, breakouts, and textured skin all at once. Plus, my skin is super sensitive to moisture. It's basically a perfect storm. So when I heard that Mild Lab's Retinal Cream was amazing, I decided to give it a try. I was nervous though, since retinal products are usually pretty strong. I wasn't sure if I should start with this one, so on day one I just applied a tiny amount as a spot treatment on my breakouts. The next morning, I couldn't believe it, but my breakouts actually looked lighter! Since my sensitive skin usually reacts to everything, the fact that I had zero irritation was totally shocking. I realized they must have formulated this to be really gentle. Tomorrow marks two weeks of my skin adjustment period. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to use it every day instead of every other day to really tackle my breakouts! This is genuinely such a great product. This isn't an ad, I'm writing this from real experience. I really recommend it to anyone in their late teens to early twenties who deals with similar skin concerns! Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. I'm just padding this out because the review would be too short otherwise! It's richer and more luxurious than I expected, and when I use it together with an ampoule, my skin has this gorgeous glow to it. After about a month of using it, I started hearing from people that my skin looked so much better. I'm mixing it at a 1:2 ratio with the ampoule and cream. The price is a bit steep, and since the container isn't transparent, I can't really tell how much product I've used, which is frustrating. Don't forget to apply sunscreen whenever you go out.

I had to stop using it. I loved it so much that I bought it again! I absolutely recommend this to anyone dealing with acne-prone skin or dark spots. It's been a game-changer for me. There's really nothing to complain about. It works great for oily skin, though those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.

I started noticing results around day four of using this product. When I cleansed my face in the morning, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and those rough, bumpy texture patches that were there before had completely disappeared by the next morning. During my makeup application in the morning, my skin felt plump and supple, so my makeup applied so much better than usual and didn't look dry or patchy. I've used retinol and retinal products before, and they always caused some irritation, but this product didn't irritate my skin at all. The formula melts into the skin so smoothly without any stickiness or heavy feeling, making it lightweight enough for all skin types to use. This product is clearly formulated with ingredients optimized for anti-aging care. I highly recommend it! I'd suggest applying a barrier cream after using this product. Since my skin is dry, I applied a generous layer of barrier cream before bed. While you'll naturally find the right combination of this retinal product and barrier cream that works for you over time, when I used a barrier cream that didn't pair well with it, I experienced some flaking. For dry skin, I recommend pairing it with Bioderma Cicabio Cream+. When I first started using it, I applied just a small amount to my eye area, around my mouth, and on my forehead to see how my skin would react. Fortunately, there was no irritation at all, so once my skin had adjusted, I began applying it to my entire face.
