I used this essence after getting a perm, and it really delivers amazing volume and has a nice light hold to it. The scent is a subtle floral blend, and I absolutely love it! The fragrance doesn't last as long as I'd hoped. When I used it on my natural hair without any curls or waves, I didn't reach for it as often. I didn't notice much improvement in my hair texture either. I found it works best when I lightly dry my hair first, apply the essence to my hands, and then gently scrunch it through my curls with my fingers.
