I've been using this product for about a month now, and I started my hair care routine about two months ago after neglecting it for so long! My hair tends to be frizzy, and whether it's summer or not, after a few hours my hair loses all its volume and goes flat. Based on a friend's recommendation, I was searching for a volumizing shampoo, and that's when I discovered Mise-en-Scene! 1. Volume I didn't notice much difference when I first started using it, but after about a week, I could definitely see a change. My hair actually holds its volume even by evening now! Even before blow-drying, I can see my hair has a bit more lift to it. 2. Texture The formula is pretty similar to a regular shampoo! It's slightly thinner, but that doesn't really affect how well it works. 3. Scent I'm not usually picky about fragrance, but I'm really happy with this one! It has a sweet scent that's not overpowering, but it lingers subtly throughout the day. The sweetness stays with you all day, so I thought people with sensitive noses might find it a bit much. But I absolutely loved it! 4. Lather I looked into it and most functional shampoos barely produce any lather, right? But this one? It creates an amazing amount of foam! I honestly expected it to be like a regular shampoo with minimal bubbles, but wow, this really lathers up! If you've been frustrated with functional shampoos that don't produce enough lather, this product is definitely worth trying. The only downside I can think of is that you really need to rinse thoroughly. I have an oily scalp and I've always been frustrated with how flat my hair gets at the crown, but I'm really happy with this product. The scent is pretty basic, but honestly, I love it. I don't have any complaints. It has a gentle, mild acidic formula that feels so nice on my hair, and it smells wonderful. No harsh chemical scent at all, and best of all, my scalp feels calm and itch-free. Honestly, there's nothing really bad to say about it. The bottle is generously sized and the cleansing power is solid. I think this product offers great value for the price. The cleansing power is really satisfying, and it doesn't make my scalp itchy at all. My hair looks a bit dry and rough after using it.
