It looks like water, but it actually delivers a nice hydrating feel. The scent is barely noticeable, though there's a subtle hint of banana to it—nothing that bothers me. I received this as a gift and have been using it, and I'm impressed by how long the moisture lasts when I apply essence first and then follow up with an emulsion. The formula is so fluid and watery that I end up using more product than I'd like. I wish it had a bit more thickness to it. This is a solid foundational bifida ferment. Since it contains plenty of active ingredients, I'm not entirely sure how it will affect my skin long-term, but it works wonderfully as a base layer under hyaluronic acid serums. It feels pretty basic and watery as a ferment product, so I'm not confident it will actually deliver results. I originally bought this product thinking I'd use it lightly in my basic skincare routine, like a toner, but it's become absolutely essential to me. I have dry skin with a compromised moisture barrier. I've been using this alongside a centella essence to help improve my overall skin condition and support barrier repair. The best part is that it's fragrance-free and doesn't contain unnecessary ingredients. The texture is incredibly lightweight, almost like a hydrating toner, so it would work great in a spray bottle too, though I've been patting it in with my hands. It's been really gentle on my skin with no irritation or problems even after using it for over a month. I think it could work beautifully when layered with other toners and essences from the same brand for a synergistic effect. To be honest, I didn't notice any significant changes or improvements in my skin condition. Since I prefer to minimize how much I'm doing to my skin, I don't see much benefit in the multi-layering approach. If you're looking for a product packed with powerful active ingredients, this might feel a bit underwhelming. Honestly, it's a solid reliable choice! The formula feels well-refined and it blends beautifully with my other products. I can't really tell if it's making a noticeable difference, to be honest. This product is made with just one fermented ingredient, bifida, so there's absolutely no irritation. It's vegan and causes no side effects even with generous application. When you look at the ingredient list, it really commits to that single, focused formula. When you apply it once, you don't feel much of a difference, and even if you pat it on multiple times, it only gets slightly hydrating. Compared to other fermented essences, the results just aren't as noticeable. For better hydration, apply it with multiple gentle tapping motions and your skin will feel nicely moisturized.

The hydrating feel lasts a really long time without leaving my skin feeling dry. I started using it because the formula is solid, and since it hasn't caused any irritation or sensitivity issues, I've kept it in my routine. It has a watery consistency, but it doesn't come with a dropper, so you have to pour it directly into your palm to apply it. This means I end up spilling a bit and wasting some product.
