I remembered that lotus-derived ingredients worked really well for my skin before, so I decided to try this one. After applying it (along with Avène mist, which I think is the perfect pairing), people actually told me my complexion looked noticeably brighter and more radiant. It could be because I'm using it during summer, but honestly, the texture and feel aren't great when I use this alone. I tried mixing oil and water together, but something felt off—it seemed like there was too much oil in the blend, leaving my skin feeling parched and uncomfortable. This is my second bottle of this essence - I love using it instead of toner when my skin feels really parched. It has that toner-like texture, but when I apply it, my skin feels so hydrated and dewy. The formula is quite watery, so it tends to drip down easily. The lotus essence feels incredibly hydrating and gives my skin a beautiful luminous glow. It's fragrance-free, and the texture is similar to the centella essence I've been using. I was applying so many products for my skincare routine that my skin felt congested and heavy. Recently, I've been layering the centella essence after my toner, then adding the lotus essence on top, and I'm loving how lightweight and moisturized my skin feels now. I personally have oily, acne-prone skin. Even though this is a lightweight oil-based essence, I do feel a bit of oiliness when I apply it, but it absorbs quickly into my skin and hasn't caused any breakouts. This product is so gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin without any irritation. I always trust this brand, and this one doesn't let me down either. The price is quite steep for me. This product feels so hydrating and moisturizing! I love how it brightens my complexion and gives my skin a more radiant appearance. The fragrance is a bit strong, probably because it's formulated with 100% concentrated essence.

I heard it helps with skin purification and brightening, so I'm giving it a try. It has a similar scent to centella, and true to Mixsoon's essence formula, when I first apply it, it feels like I've smoothed on butter, but then gradually my skin feels deeply hydrated and plump. I'll keep using it consistently for a month and come back with an update. Honestly, there's nothing disappointing about it. Since Mixsoon released their toner, I don't use the essence like an exfoliating toner anymore. Just a couple of drops is enough to keep my skin feeling dewy, so the 100ml bottle doesn't feel like a small amount at all. I like to layer it by applying galactomyces first, then the lotus essence on top. Both help brighten my complexion, so I feel like I'm getting a synergistic effect from using them together.
